are you sure you didnt play this on easy? cos during the motorcycle part, you dont headshot some of the frogs with the mk22 and they still get knocked out, normally it takes a few body shots not just one.

for some reason, they think she is still alive and its her, so they dont go apeshit on you when you walk by making this run the easiest of the game in this part atleast, this guy will tell you that the bike run is the hardest

The Resistance Trick was not my invention. It was discovered a long time ago! it was only a few months after the release of MGS4.

I have been tempted. :) I may go for a No Save BBE instead.

Odds are on you didn't do the Resistance Trick. Google it. It involves the Beauty camo and saving/loading at certain times.

They do die, but it doesn't register as a kill because the shots fall on the barrel instead.

Yes it does. The guards' are on the lookout for Snake. (Remember the cutscene). So any other FaceCamo allows him to run around unhindered.

No. He should still be there regardless of difficulty. If you are using the RT, make sure you save after the cutscene where he removes his disguise. Then exit, reload & run to the same spot. He should be there then.

I well tell you what I did and maybe you can tell me what went wrong

So I ran just liek you did with the changed face. I saved after every checkpoint. Then I arrived on the last scene where the Res Hideout is. But I didn't see anyone. And when I activated that signal device , they said the target was in the beginning of the act (like where you first saw him)

You must save the game after he removes the disguise at the end. Repeat the Resistance Trick (RT) for the last section & he should be there.

Yes. You can use any of the FaceCamos that the guards' have not seen.

i don't understand the RT. i watched a tutorial but still don't get how after doing saves at each checkpoint it allows you to start back at the beginning... help?

MGS4 only saves data at a checkpoint. In the RT you allow the resistance to reach the next checkpoint whilst you save the game to record his new position at the next checkpoint. The game doesn't add the time (to complete the section) to the game clock because you haven't actually arrived at the next checkpoint. When you reach the next area the game finally records your playtime. So it looks like this:-

1) Follow to exit & wait for him to run off.

2) Save.

3) Reload.

4) Run through exit.

Load your N sector save. Follow the resistance to the cutscene corner. Save after the cutscene, exit & reload the save. Run to the same location after loading. Check your message box for a link I will send you for further assistance. :)

Yes. You need to follow the resistance member to the area where he removes his disguise. Then save after the brief cutscene, exit & reload the save. He should be waiting right there. Just run to that spot again. :)

I have to because I can save 4 seconds! I only need to show the N sector though as that is the only section that is different. I've no need to show the chase sections again as the time is fixed & it would be no different to this vid's method. I've decided to tag the improved N sector onto the beginning of Act 3: Part 2. I will post similar info in Part 2's info section so people know why.

Because it's the only face that the PMC soldiers haven't seen. They wont recognise the Beauty FaceCamo & therefore you can run around without triggering any unwanted reactions like Alerts.

Possibly you can save 2-3 seconds in N sector.

I just make the video" how to RT" because I often receive question mail for a way of RT.

I cannot see any way to improve the N sector. It's a direct line. Unless you've managed to move the Resistance member on quickly. Possibly by shooting near him?

That's awesome! :) But, I meant using the XM25 during the initial bike chase scene here :P But I guess it'd only have real use if it could stun the HTs without killing them. Or didn't count as a kill if used on a drum barrel. Plus it'd waste time to equip, lol.

It did. The XM25 does all the damage required in 1 hit & that's more than other weaponry! Raven's health will be down to 75%!
