awesome result eventhough it wasn't finished. i'm starting my first attempt at making a longboard and my press that i'm going to make will look very simular like the one you and your grandfather build just a little bit more simple.i'm going to use more and thinner layers though so i can have more smoother curves and overall more aesthetic look.glad someone else is using this method cause most video's i find have a total different way of handling things

Nice idea for a press. I make board too but haven't had time to put a video up yet. How does the board hold up to a sander? Because on mine if my press is exactly even I get air pockets and the veneers split...

@sectoronetwothree thanks man. i dont really understand what you mean ^^ but yes i sanded the board with a "sanding machine" (a grinder) and there was no problem. i used polyurethane glue that apparently expands and fills air bubbels, try that!
