They were getting back at EPIC because they wouldn't let Michael be in the "Tell Me I'm Not Dreamin" video. Jermaine "wanted" in.. Also...Michael was at the shoot but left after a disagreement with Jackie on the concept of the video. MJ was facing criticism from Jehovah Witness because of the THRILLER video, so this doing this was a no-no.

Jermaine wasn't in the video either. The main person going through the maze is Jackie, with Marlon, Randy & Tito doing the performing/dancing. It looked like a wax figure dressed up as Michael and another in two shots that bare no resemblance to Jermaine but must've supposed to have been him. Too bad though, it was Michael and Jermaine's first song together in probably 10 years! It would've been nice for them to have been in the video singing together.
