dude this is so sweet! iv been tryin to play this by ear and i almost got it.. but is there any tabs you can send me?? i really wanna know how to play this.
Yup. Just joined one about a month ago. I will be giving details out a litle later this summer when we are up and running full force with demo's, a name, and some shows.
after watching almost every single video of yours i only have one question
can you come up to spokane washington and fucking teach me!!!??? hahahahaha
dude your sick, i've been playing metal for like 2 or 3 years, and listening too it for 5 and i have never really heard anything like what you play. christ all mighty!!! lol
I recommand u his pedal Metal muff i think But any gibson sound good lawl i got a b.c rich warlock platinum and its worth it ... but good epiphone SG will be good for you
My guitar is an ESP Eclipse Custom. I recommend anything that's a good ESP or Ibanez... or even a Schecter. I am not a fan of Gibson at all. Jackson is alright if you like thicker necks, tho I don't like them. Fernandez is alright, and PRS isn't bad but once again, those don't suit my hand. The person that commented to you about a pedal... I don't use any pedals. This was straight out of a shitty 150w Line 6 Spider II. Pedals are something I just never got into.
B.C. Rich is alright I guess. I won't buy them simply for the name and dumb clunky designs that most of there guitars have. I mean, they look cool (sorta) but they just aren't my thing.
As far as Gibson goes, I just hate the feel of the neck and the body weight bothers me. I have a small hand so the fat super round neck doesn't work well for me. Ibanez, ESP, and Schecter (to an extent) have the wizard neck option (or something similar) and it just feels right to me.
that makes sense, i just always loved the sound of a gibson, and i would assume that like a flying V or like an explorer would be pretty nicely weighted, but i love ibanez because of the sound of the EMGs and how easy it is to tap on them. And i dont know much about BC Rich.
Yea, I don't tap much so that was never a big deal for me. It is all the weight and feel of the neck that makes me love or hate a guitar (from a feel standpoint). Ibanez is my favorite as far as the neck goes but the weight of my ESP is perfect for me and it's a thin neck too.
I hate EMG. I know you mentioned liking Ibanez for the pickups. That seems odd since the pickups aren't actually Ibanez and you can take the pick ups and put them in any guitar. lol. Mine are Seymour Duncan Blackouts.
I have changed the pickups in my ESP 3 times. They went from the original set up (dunno what they were), to a Seymour Duncan Full Shred in the neck and a Seymour Duncan Livewire in the bridge. Then I changed them out to the SD Livewire Metal set. Then I changed them out again to the SD Blackouts set (reg not the metal Blackouts). Imo, the Blackouts trump the others by a long shot. I would try the blackout metal's but I like the versatility of the reg Blackouts.
i customized my old strat like an EVH Frankenstrat like thing with the red striped pain and no pickguard so i could easily change the pickup with little effort. but im actually sticking with some kind of humbucker but i might switch to emg sometime.
Oh and one of my good friends, and old guitarists, bought it for $1800 but didn't like the feel of it and sold it to me for $400 lol. He is a rich kid so the money was nothing to him... unlike me who is a broke ass. :)
YAY i love ibanez too :) im getting one later this year. ESP are nice as well always been a perfect thin neck when i play them. and they are generally light.
you will never stop impressed me i like rythm Riff And i like Melodeath so man you rock ! i learned ur other riff by ear its fucking fun to play i play for only about 2 year and i play alot of Death melo and Trash metalcore,
Influence: KalmaH,LaMb Of GoD,Norther,Arch Enemy,CoB,Imperanon Blade, etc keep this good riff man i hope to see u famous dude
sweet, i just started a band and i've been playing for two years as well and i like what this guy plays, and thats what my bands plays, there's also power metal and harcoremetal two.
I have to say that you have truly impressed me. I've heard a lot of different guitarists playing on YouTube, and only a select few have the talent that you have.
very nice. but when you play the low notes and suddenly switch to the high sweepish type of thing you need to make the sweep a harmony or an octave higher get what i'm saying
I must say, its really tough to play this as fast as you do. Good job, I'm actually learning off of what you post so keep em coming ;). My Favourite so far is Drop D Riff 1, still working on that one though.
rlly rlly well done man, watched ur walkthrough and i can play it now too :D . btw this might be an incredibly stupid question but wat pick are u using xD
lol, the expression on your face when you make the mistake around 0:55, just priceless. Good to see someone capable of keeping composure. I usually scream some profanity, and start over from the beginning.
I just picked up the guitar and played. I pretty much learned to tab songs I liked by ear and always insisted on writing my own songs. Writing things that I couldn't really play. Yw know? You have to challenge yourself if you want to get better.
