I heard long time ago that the producers of "Smallville" don't have the rights to "Superman", the superman dress, nor Clark/Superman flying. I was told that Clark will never be seen as superman in this show, nis this true or false? thx

@HMGen14 - To clarify... The suite you see in the promo, and the one used in the episode is the same as the one used in Superman Returns.. However, I doubt seriously that they will use that suite for him to wear. It was form-fitted for Brandon, and so I would guess they will have one made for Tom. At Comic-Con Tom mentioned he hadn't even seen the suite, but the promo of Lois holding it, and it reflecting in his eyes was aired there for the first time. :)
@HMGen14 No it's not! They used the suit from Superman the movie and Superman 2 for Smallville's season finale. The one that Chris Reeve wore? The one in Returns had more of a leather look and the colors were darker too.

It's SMALLVILLE - Ever since the fuckin 5 season everything got tooty-fruity and all soap-opera like, there ARE NO dark colors in Smallville lol So, when they got the SUPERMAN RETURNS suit (You can tell by the crest) they brightened the colors for the show to match everything else.

@dracerick yeah at the latest Comic Con, the producers said it was the costume from Superman Returns. I think the Alex Ross costume in the comics is the best!! Yeah i have watched Smallville from day 1 and i have seen the clips with the cape in the clouds with the yellow "S" on it, but it they use the Superman Returns costume, i will be very disappointed.
