I never read the Hulk comics growing up. But I didn’t even know McGee was a character in anything other than the Bixby series. Who knows what’s what anymore with the way they tweak everything. Are there NO purists left in the world????
One of the hugest mistakes of DC was to carry on with the Bruce Banner character instead of the TV show's David. David Banner was the man and his character was dynamic. Where was Jack Magee in this cartoon?
@Indo77 first Marvel owns the Hulk. 2nd McGee was only in the stupid TV series. 3rd Bruce Banner is his real name. David Banner was his father. Read some comic books, or watch the Cartoon series.
@Burgerrider I am well aware of the comic book Hulk and I seen this cartoon during its first run in the 1980s. As you claim to be such an expert on the comic book incarnation why do you state David Banner is Bruce's Dad. That was Brian Banner, not David. It was changed to David for the 2003 film. It was my own opinion that the TV Hulk story had a hell of a lot more depth to it.
