In Teeth, she's telling the guy to show her his teeth, but his teeth are a metaphor for what he's like without pretense or show or insecurities. It's kind of an echo of Bad Romance--this idea of wanting someone completely, both the good parts and the ugly parts.

Again, I have said that these might not be completely accurate! Some are what she has said, and others are my own interpretation! @finalfantasy97 the lyric you quoted supports the idea that when her boyfriend is watching her, she 'falls apart' emotionally. Her performance of Dance in the Dark at the Brits Awards also showcases a sense of insecurity and loneliness. @Fink27 Gaga said BR is about falling in love with your best friend. @singingthelife you could be right. :)

...an emotional connection with her lover, hence why I interpreted it as a fear of attachment (physical and emotional). So if you think of sex as a 'physical attachment', then we both mean the same thing. :) And with Monster, she sings about a boy eating her heart and her brain after she sleeps with him, which I saw as a fear of being sexually 'addicted' to someone aka fear of sex.

@drewsaturdayrox I can respect that. As I mentioned earlier though, that list is a combination of both what Gaga has said in interviews as well as my own interpretations of the songs. With Alejandro, when I say relationships, that encompasses everything that goes with relationships (i.e. fear of men, fear of sex, fear of attachment, etc.) but I think key lines like "Don't call my name, I'm not your babe" and "Just smoke my cigarette and hush" are indications of her wanting to avoid...
