@OCHD101 Thanks! It's hard to say now since I can't really see it on the video - I know it was smaller than what we show over, so probably not any bigger than 4'3 or maybe 4'6.

Fun Clinic! I would just have the first rider balance her horse more, collect and be properly round on the front to have more impulsion and not have that hind end trailing and with a loose sloppy canter. CUTE horse and rider combo, would just be more "Athletic" about the ride and package the horse a bit. With a sitting and deep canter her cute horse would explode over those fences with confidence and she'd have epic speed control to make it look effortless. Good start! Flat work is KING.

great riding! you're so lucky i love mclain! by the way question...how long did it take you to go from say the 3'6" to the highs? i'm doing big eq now but i'm hoping to cross into the jumpers once i age out. :)

I actually never did the 3'6 jumpers - we did the junior hunters for a few years and then stepped right into the low juniors... 15 shows later, we moved up to the highs.

And thank you =]. I'm not good at giving advice or stuff like that, especially if I'm not given a question.. I do a lot of core work to get my abs and back super strong, as well as tons of no-stirrups work posting the trot and keeping a really light seat at the canter. It's really hard, but it keeps me really strong.
