  • It is not a gold mine. It is a pegamite formation that produced spoudmune,beryl,quartz,and large crystals of tantalite-columbite. It was operated since the 1800's by an english company called the harney peak tin co. The entire operations was one of the biggest mine pormotion,fleecings of black hills history.

  • Great,Its an unusual gold mine to say the least.If you have access to a micro eye viewer you may find that some of the quartz has fine gold that is not visible to the naked eye.You wouldn't make any money but could be some good specimens.Thanks for sharing this video.Regards Loamer.
