I find it sad to look back to my era, the early 80's, and look at the painful finality that so many people like Leigh, Boy George and Marilyn, Steve Strange finally inherited. Victims of drug abuse, drink, and for Leigh, sadly AIDS. They were so full of life - well, larger then life! And so inspiring for us all to not be afraid of change and pushing the boundries. They showed us all that WE could be what we wanted to be. Rest in Peace, Leigh. Rest in Peace.

i saw his exposition in a museum of historical arts in hannover on the Hannover goes Fashion exposition. His art is very disgusting, but he express his work and his lifesryle on a fascinating character. it´s sad that someone like him must die so early on aids! he is brilliant!
