Thank you so much for updating this! I been playing piano for 2 years and I'm playing this song and i cant get the tune right after hearing this I finally understood.
In the 19th century, the Chickering Piano Co. in Boston, Mass. "celebrated" their new-style grand pianos by publicly burning a huge pile of older-style rosewoodsquare grand pianos, similar to this one in appearance, but larger! Sad. Great playing by the way!
I used to play it in my spinet and once in my harpsichord exams. These early classical composers sound much better on clavicord, spinet, harpsichord and piano forte.
WOW!!! It just sounds so much better on that beautiful piano. I love the "small" sound; feels very period appropriate. Please post more; absolutely love your playing. Fabulous
Nice!
Great job!
I am also playing this on the piano. I like the sound of this piece of music.

How is the touch of the piano? According to some description these pianos are lighter than modern.
For me personally, I play Spiritoso (Allegro) much faster than this. But I am not sure what it is intended to be. The sound is good, in fact, very.

Thank you for the comment, platmosic.
Yes, the touch is much lighter than modern piano. An appropriate touch to early fortepiano is needed.

It was it description of Schubert's sonatas, where repeated chords needs to be strucked. e.g. D.850 (just watch the scherzo)

Wow! Played this before on regular piano, it sounds so much better on a piano that produces more of a spinet sound.

This version is different than the one I play. Is that because it's "5th edition" or because you changed it a bit?
Anyway:
I wouldn't have started the third movement so forte.
However, beautiful trills, well played piece, very nice.
Also, nice instrument.

Thank you, whiteunibrow.
I changed or add some notes only in the repeated parts.
Definitely, it's better starting the third movement softly. Thank you for the advice!

I must say I'm very surprised by the sound of the instrument! I have never heard a 'table' piano before and it is just beautiful!
And of course : great playing! :-)

Thank you for your comment!
Actually, the sound is so good but I must improve sound recording (and also my playing technique ;-)).
