Just to set the records straight there is NO WAY an iPhone or any other phone for that matter be able to analyse you DNA, first of all because this is way to complicated task for an iPhone but above all because you need to sequence it first. This is as the fringe of misrepresentation. When it will be possible, the applications will go far beyond checking if people are related or not. Which is almost useless unless it aims at determining heritability of diseases.
