don't ever take this video down i used to live for this map and this game, i was #24 in the world and #1 in shots fired :) i could fly a helicopter like nobody i'd do backflips and all, and i played well with all units, those were the good ol days, this game could have lived as long as Age Of Conquerors on PC, but too bad EA doesnt give a shit.....i sold my 360 a couple years ago when this game kinda died off, glad to see there were still people playing it, i thought it had been down for good

I remember when there was a multiplayer demo at the tailend of the Xbox's run, pre-360, and this was one of the maps (or the only map I think). I remember my friend throwing C4 onto hummers and driving into enemy territory and blowing it up. I remember jumping out of helos and landing on towers via parachute for the perfect sniping spot. Awesome game. I have no connection to BF2's maps, except this one. I don't think anything made Backstab stand out as a map, but I'd like to see it again in bf3

To be technical about it modern combat is the console VERSION of bf2, its missing a lot, but its still a VERSION of bf2. It may use a different game engine but its still got a lot from bf2 (its a much closer game to bf than bad company is) it even uses the 3d models as bf2 redone for the modern combat engine (same as crackdown i believe)

Damn good game for a console game shame they didnt carry on with it but gave this destruction and newer controls but keeping the map design.....

Bad company 3 is still on the books but dunno when it'll get released, so if anything bf3(console) is the closest to modern combat as you'll get as its based off a pc game just like this is.
