This phone is overpriced and underpowerd not to mention ugly layout bad cricket overage i paid 129.00 with tax included for lg optimus v better coveragei was cricket now with virgin mobile 35 a month 300 mins unlimited txt data cap 2.5 gb after that its throteld speeds that's 1.5 GB more than cricket it virgin uses Sprint's 3G network. Lg optimus v 600mhz processor with dedicated graphics virging is a much better deal.

@WolfaRiio hey I'm not sure. if you know this or not. you probably do. the LG optimus has a phone to face sensor. which means everytime you make a call if you touch the sensor which is in the top left corner of the phone. the screen stays black. so try moving your finger or any object away from the sensor and respond if that's the problem :)

I detest this phone and starting to hate Cricket just as much. This phone never ever gives me more than 2 bars of signal and the internet freezes and crashes constantly, like 8 times in 10 minutes. I took it back to Cricket and they refuse to replace it unless I pay an extra 21 bucks. Why should I? I will never own a "smart" phone again because they're anything but. I'm going back to T-Mobile and my SIM card. I can't even unload this stupid phone now.

Cricket takes a lot of heat for budget android phones, but I have this phone and it is stellar, especially for 55 a month for unlimited everything. If anyone is considering buying this, buy it unless your picky, and would rather pay a 80 dollar unlimited plan with sprint, for a more elite phone.

I recently just bought the optimus C and its giving me a lot of problems. Everytime I make a call it goes into a black screen and freezes, i can still talk and everything but now i cant hang up cus it doesnt show me an option since its a black screen. Everytime i make a call or receive a call. It also reboots itself alot. It doenst let me do much :(

@WolfaRiio I can tell you that I have the same issue with this phone and also with the Iphone. I realized that the problem was that I was trying to talk on the phone while it was still in its protective carrying case. Apparently, that affects something on the side of the phone and causes the screen to go black. Aside from that, I still hate the LG Optimus C. Trying to sell it now, but I doubt I'll get anything for it since it's tied to Cricket and can't be unlocked - to my knowledge, anyway.

Have this phone the picture quality is alright not anything compared to the droid incredible, but overall the phone is good. I replaced the 8gb sd card with a 16gb so more room :) uh sometimes if you have too many apps running at once it will freeze up and restart. Other than that the sound quality is great, pictures are okay, runs well, and is perfect! :)

@XD65 get the Optimus C, the Ascend II claims to have a 5 megapixel camera but what they don't tell you is is does NOT have auto focus, and it does NOT have mutitouch meaning you can't use many android apps.

I'm sold - thank you for clearing up my confusion of which phone which would be a better upgrade from my huawei I. I love LG - and noticed that the only difference of the huawei II compared to the first version was that the camera quality was improved along with the touch buttons on the bottom being different. Which to me isn't that great of an upgrade. Thanks again i'm now certain i will be happy with choosing the LG instead.

@tgtaylorjae I have an ascend 2 and it lags on angry birds. It's because they're slower processors. Keep ur lg optimus c though. it has auto focus on the camera so you can use Barcode Scanner. Ascend 2 doesn't :( also no dual touch!

This and the Indulge are the best by far! The Huawai earns second place and the Suede third because of its unlimited music. Good stuff for the most part at least :)
