Did Tripp take to his toothbrush right from the start? I've started taking Holly to the bathroom with me when I brush my teeth and give her her own to chew on, so when she actually gets some teeth, hopefully she'll let me brush them!

I didnt know you could get snow in Texas! Is it that common? We are expecting 10 - 20 cm's tomorrow, which is the most we've had predicted so far.. But come end of january, beginning of february, that is when the real snow begins!
Wow you guys snow actually stuck! I live in Austin Texas and we got snow flurries but no sticky snow :((( I've never seen snow like that in real life lol

Who cares if he isn't walking! My daughter took her first steps on her first birthday (Nov2 and took 2steps) and now at 13 months walking lots but my niece didn't walk til l 14-15 months and that was fine! Babies do things on their own time!
we finally got some snow in lubbock last night!! a 10:00 start at school woooohoooo!!! actually, our weather was NUTS today! snowed over night, had ice all morning, rain at lunch, then 60mph wind. gotta love west texas weather. tripp is getting so big!! what a cutie patootie!

hey lora, hallmark has the night before christmas big book with a voice recorder and you read the story while it records so your child can hit play and have you read it to them, i thought that was really cool its 29.99 but theres a 10 dollar off giftcard in alot of parenting magazines =)
I have a quick question is he having trouble witht he 5th & 6th teeth? My son is 9mnths and is having a hell of a trouble with those they have cut but seem to be growing much slower.
Im not sure if its those teeth cos i heard they are more painful.
Just wondering how tripp is doing with them?
Ayds have been coming through for 2 weeks and still giving him hell they are prob about 1-2mm trough but no where near as quick as the first 4 :S
Okay I just have to say, YEAH for Tripp he is such a big boy!! and who cares if he isn't WALKING!! :P Tehe. He gets around just fine and he will walk when he wants to. My son walked at 9months and let me tell you I would have been fine if he waited like Tripp has. He is going to be a smart boy. Even if he NEVER walks. Okay I am done venting. I just get annoyed when people rush things. Let the kids be kids. Don't stress the mother out more than she already is. :)

It was SOO funny when he ate his lil baby cake. I see snow every single year so it's hard for me to grasp the concept of not seeing snow in 7 YEARS!!! wow that's a LONG time! lol Jayden has the same moose shirt as tripp @ 6:30 :)

Germany. But, I am from northern Minnesota, and lived 4+ years in North Dakota. So having none is a shock to the system. It is ruining the holidays for me! Last year we had a bit, but nothing compared to even eastern Germany. We went out there twice last winter just to get a fix.
Can't wait for the 1st birthday video. I am sure it will be filled with festivities! It is December 8th, and it still isn't snowing here. I can't stand it. :(

Yea. Not that that is uncommon.. Babies walk anywhere from 9-18 months. And boys usually walk later than girls.
