  • se volete sognare con questo pezzo ascoltATE MICHELANGELI ;)RAGAZZA SEIBRAVA MA ANCORA MOLTO LONTANA DALLO STILE INTERPRETATIVO DEI GRANDI COME MICHELANGELI TI CONSIGLIO DI ASCOLTARLO POTREBBE SERVIRTI

  • ascoltate michelangeli :)

  • OMG wow haha, did she even miss one note?

  • Interesting someone wrote of Rubinstein. When I close my eyes and listen I hear Artur Rubinstein.

  • I loved it. Sometimes i think it would be better if you would slow down a bit, but for the rest its just perfect :) I really feel it, you know that dancing and moving thing, cant really explain it but geuss you know what i'm talking about.

  • great player technically. i didn't like the performance.

  • Her constant pauses ruins the song

Wykonanie super!

  • Claire played this better than Yundi Li for sure.

  • Learning this piece technycally isin't hard but add the emmotion part to it and youl find yourself in a very big strugle.I know i'm learning it now.Claire played this i might say even better than Yundi Li or even Rubinstein.

  • Nice lady, good play. but fairy speaking, I really miss that "something" at her playing what I call "Chopin".

  • pfew, seeing this I still have a looong way to go! beautifully played and what a difficult yet hauning piece.

  • absolutely amazing. You have a great future. I am so proud of you and congratulations to your parents for raising such a wonderful pianist.

  • I'm definitely going to see her in France in April =D

  • the best version on the tube......bravo !!

  • she plays the 7;59 differently when repeated. accents the top notes. great reading

  • she should marry with Li Yundi!

  • she should marry with Li Yundi!

  • how play HOW PLAY i needd haaaaa : ( please tablatures HELP MEEEE !! ! !

  • very impressive playing............where is she now?

  • @mikosaaol She's playing at the International Chopin Competition tomorrow. I'll definitely be rooting for her!!!

  • yayayyayayyayay!!!! wow!!!!!

  • I read all these comments saying that this or that pianist sound different than others such as Horowitz, Arrau, Zimerman, and I love listening to all of them, but I can't hear the difference...As a saxophonist though, I can tell apart the famous saxophonists, but not the pianists =( am I crazy?

  • messup at 8:58... that was bad... but overall its a terrifying piece to play im sure

  • an incredible repertoire for a sixteen-year old! i wonder how much she practices a day. amazing..

  • she plays it too fast

  • @1923moo huh? I don't think so..

  • @1923moo check out horowitz he plays it even faster :P

  • She plays with such certainty.

  • superbe

BRAVO !!!

  • Bravo!!!

  • her hands seem so small in contrast with the keyboard!

  • her hands are not so very small, actually

  • I always feels wierd when there's no clapping at the end of the performances. I will never understand why that's the decided etiquette for audiences.

  • @debussy84

As it's a piano competition, there won't be an audience, only adjudicators who are judging each competitor's performance. They would be busy writing their evaluation during and after the performance. It's not generally expected that an adjudicator would clap! I suppose if it were a jaw dropping performance one might - but all the competitors would need to be brilliant to even be considered for the competition.

  • @errolthecat huh? All of them are in front of an audience, lol. How come i've seen tons of clips on youtube where competitors are infront of an audience. For a good example type in "piano competition failure" and you'll see some dude fuck up in front of everyone. That's just one example that's memorable for me, but they're all in front of an audience. The winners get prize money, and judges, film people, the hall being rented, etc need to get paid. That comes from the fee to watch, lol.

  • Giving the fact that shes 16 here it is magnificent. And your a fool if you compare a 16 yr old girl with yundi or others.

  • While this is a technically competent performance, I don't feel good listening to it. The problem lies in the fact the volume is not controlled very well. For example, at 3:38 it should go from an fz to a p, but the player keeps on playing it at fortissimo. A quick click to Yundi Li's video should show how it should be played. The portion from 3:38 should be played with emotion, and not played like as if one's typing on a keyboard. Overall the performance is on the loud side.

  • very not Chopin, I will expect more "graceful" and "impro" ... but have to admit she has every note clean and clear and follow the score.... BUT seriously, we want music. Not machine.

    Speranza Dossi.-

  • Chopin would be very proud, I do believe...

  • really gifted pianist ... gorgeous ...

  • I must say that Lang Lang is nothing in comparison with her.Though it looks heavy if you really want to play it then it is easy ( believe me i am making this for school and I'm 13 )

  • @ ImTheCritique how can you say something like that and compare her to lang lang, lang lang is a genious, he feels the music, and of course this girl plays technically very well for her age but i must say i miss the emotion. this is not chopin and i don't feel anything, and this is in my opinion more important than technical things.

  • @hotbebimauz O_O oh my god, it's not a joke! lang lang and emotion is the biggest joke i've ever heard in my live xD lang lang is a monkey who plays technically good, but will never in his life play on a higher niveau than a 10 year old child. His "music" lacks everything, especially "real" emotion....

  • I am waiting for black pianist (and no - that's not a sarcasm).

  • Awesome!

  • I loved it... awesome technique.

  • Incredible feeling.

  • no... uh... applause?...

  • So beautiful! Bravo!

  • she's good but broody is better

  • This is a beautiful performance! I also heard Eygeny Kissin play this in one of his programs. Amazing was not the word. It was breath-taking!!

  • Beautiful like a dream!

  • Awesome performance!

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE SEND ME THE SHEETS?

  • Incredible! Absolutely beautiful!

  • nobody( horowitz, rubinstein,) nobody plays like this girl...... is really greatttt.. wow!!! BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!!!

  • dont talk like that.. respect the masters.. and this great pianist have a big mountain on her front..

  • She did this in such a hurry. I know nothing about this piece of music, but her interpretation sounds harsh to me. I find hardly any soft notes and subtle feeling. It feels like she is kind of struggling. DON'T LIKE

  • Oh my... I was just reminded that I need to practice... I've been away from the piano for months now...

  • thats not fair, she's the same age as me when she played this ㅠ.ㅠ and i can barely get the first couple of movements down

  • i meant measures >_0

  • this girl is awesome :D

  • very well played...although i think she rushed through a few sections. and she did a great job playing without an orchestra behind her as it was written...and in a few parts she actually plays the missing orchestra parts. well done!!!

  • but of course she plays the orchestra part as well, because there is no orchestra so she has to play the orchestral parts also. This is unavoidable. ;-)

  • @lizziedaylewis woah there, don't go sounding like mojo jojo now.

  • @Slayerlx It was not my intention at all.

  • I understand this is a competition and she's on to play her next piece. But I would have been the only one standing up and cheering and clapping my head off when she finished.

  • Also in the movie "The Pianist".

  • I think your sarcasm is a bit too subtle. but I agree, she's gorgeous and plays this piece prodigiously.

  • She's a great pianist but she plays the piece to timidly.

  • Mah...

  • So beautiful!!!

  • Well I think the speed is ok... U.U It sounds beautiful ^.^

  • she makes a mistake at 4:22, playing a trill in the melod instead of just a turn

  • Comment removed

  • lol

  • ??? a very bright and interesting comment... did you get tired thinking about this? Where do you get all the huge knwoledge to make a comment as deep as this one... ¬¬!

  • I play this piece myself, so it's not hard to notice the little differences like that :P

  • Jejeje... I wonder so. My point is that she's doing a really great performance of the piece and a mistake like that is a naive observation. Sorry about that.

  • eh tiziana a parlare sono bravi tutti, prova a suonarlo tu sto pezzo a questo livello! poi ne riparliamo....

  • Totalmente d`accordo con te.

    lokopiano

  • When I think about bands like U2 or Oasis that said their music will last for centuries... I don't think any chineese teenager will play ''Vertigo'' or ''champagne Supernova'' in a high class competion in 150 years... Absolutely brilliant Chopin never dies.

  • @TheApparthus well, you are right, but you have to consider that U2 and Oasis music will last forever in the rock/pop world right? Its like saying that pepperoni pizza flavor will last forever among vegetarians,... quite opposite don't you think? The vast majority of Oasis/U2 fans probably never heard songs like this one so you can't compare them,...

  • ja ja ordinario, lloron, abre tu mente, no te estanques y porfavor no molestes, no te obligue a leerme

  • absolutely brilliant!!! love it..

  • Gracias mi amor, me gusto mucho eres muy lindo para conmigo te amo marcelo, tu suse

  • haber si te gusta mamita....yo casi me duermo escuchandola, jajajaj se ve q toca bien,,,,un besito t kiero susely d

  • This has to be one of the best interpretations on youtube....this girl is an extraordinary talent.

  • woahh!! thats fantastic. maybe she could visit philippines to concertize.:) how old is she now?

  • where can I download?

  • one of the best performance ive ever heard.its like perfect for me. two thumbs up!im actually studying this piece. i wish i could play it like this.:)did she win the competition?

  • Wow...Chopin did something amazing. Listen closely in 0:54-0:59. I do not hear music made from the piano. But I hear a flock of beautiful birds flying away towards the horizon.

  • Wow... Chopin did another thing quite amazing. Listen closely at 3:18-3:30. I do not hear music, but instead, I hear the best, wettest, sloppiest BJ ever given in a back alley in West Phili. My god, God Bless Chopin.

  • My God...you are totally right. You know what, I will share one of the comments that was given to me by one of my teachers...Beethoven plays for the Angels, Chopin plays for God...

  • lol.

  • sure? 16?

    amazing!

    I'm 15 I absolutly can't make that when I 16

  • What an amazing performance. A 16 yr old pianist showing great maturity in her interpretation of this landmark piece.

  • Absolutely fantastic articulation

  • mistake at 5:50 but pretty great overall

  • christ what a performance

  • One of the best interpretatons I've heard!

  • Very precise performance.. i didn't notice any missed notes!!

imo it was a bit slow in some parts, but i really like the finale! nice one.
