I think that in book canon, Harry and Hermione should have been together. Think about it. Hermione stuck by Harry's side no matter what, even when Ron did not. It took 5 years, 5 YEARS before Ginny could really talk to Harry normally. And Ron fights, argues with and scorns Hermione for her studious and responsible attitude. Why would she fall for someone like that when Harry, who was almost always nice and considerate, was there for her? It's because otherwise Ron and Ginny would be alone.
at this point hermione should have pulled down her lower body coverings and laid on her back as harry whipped out his equipment then they could have gone at it hot and heavy.then it would have been so great to listen to all the `the book`s better than the film` lobby talk they`re way out of that one
in one of the other videos of them he talks about it and every time I've seen it I don't get to listen to him finish talking but I hear him say "the actual day we were filming the scene I actually got really really emotional" it's so sweet and he's so freaking cute in this with Hermione :) I love it and for the record I would probably get really emotional too

I dont know about you, but for me, this scene makes me cry. it reminds me its all over, and its so sad, because this series of movie and books are the kind of books you cant compare to any other book, you cant replace them once youve read them, not with twilight or even hunger games (which i do love), its a book series that whenever you look at them on your shelf or see hermoine and harry or ron lauging together you smile :')

This is seriously the ONE SCENE I am GLAD they added,even if it wasn't in the book.It has so much meaning to it.I don't remember who,but someone said it was kind of 'incomplete', it leaves you thinking that there could've been a chance that they bonded differently, that (SPOILER) Hermione might've picked Harry. It's also the "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." kind of scene, if anyone remembers that quote from the 3rd film :-)
@KatrinaXProductions I can't see Hermione/Harry as a couple (I'm pretty strictly canon when it comes to HP) but I do love this scene. I think they have a beautiful brother-sister bond and really love that they show that in the movie.

The reason I love this video so much is because to me it reads "Could it be more" by harry potter. He loves hermione as a friend, and has a deep respect and friendship with her. When Ron storms out, he feels bad for her, and realizes what a fool Ron must be to leave. Harry has love for her, and if Hermione felt the same, I def think it might have happened. But hermione truly loved ron. Harry realizes this. at the end of their dance. he realizes he cannot take the place of Ron for her.
Like most who've watched this video, it really is it a favorite of mine too! It's that bittersweet moment where you realize that they had to spend the last 7 years of their lives fighting evil, and in the end, they're just teenagers. :)
Ron and Hermione ending up together is predictable. Harry and Hermione are not predictable because canon people say how their relationship is platonic so how is that predictable than? What is predictable is the happy ending they got in the epilogue which is worse than Harry and Hermione ending up together. Seriously. Ron and Hermione married with children? Harry and Ginny married with children? I saw that coming. Now that is predictable and way too easy. So think before you say Harmony is.
@DaseyObsessed I think almost all couples can be predictable in some way. Hero ending up with a best friend? Predictable. Hero ending up with a best friend's sibling? Also predictable. My issue with H/Hr isn't the predictability its that I love H/Hr as friends and I'm a diehard H/G R/H shipper. But hey, we all like different ships and thats ok. The important thing is, we all love Harry potter! <3

One of my favorite scenes in any movie. It's so touching and bittersweet. This one moment to forget and be happy and let all tension and heartache go... I want a friendship like that.
everytime I hear this song I feel like I miss something or someone who is far far away from me or someone who has already past away but it feels that I will see them again someday.
I am so happy that they added this part. This should have been in the book. I love how Harry would do a silly dance in the midst of it all - Ron leaving, the Dark Lord rising, him being "The Chosen One", having to find horcruxes in the fear of being caught and failing everyone else - just to make Hermione feel better. Harmony(H/Hr) should have happened. As far as I can see, Romione is the only thing I would consider a 'flaw' in the saga.
@thirteenpizzas I'm a diehard Romione and Harry/Ginny shipper forever, but I really love Harry/Hermione's friendship. They care about each other a lot.

Just because some people choose to live by the books and see them as just friend in this scene, does not mean that's what it is. This scene is not canon so you can't apply canon into the moment. I hate canon shippers. They piss me off. The dance scene has a romantic undertone whether people want to see it or not because that is the direction it was taken in.

Ron and Hermione ending up together is predictable. Harry and Hermione are not predictable because canon people say how their relationship is platonic so how is that predictable than? What is predictable is the happy ending they got in the epilogue which is worse than Harry and Hermione ending up together. Seriously. Ron and Hermione married with children? Harry and Ginny married with children? I saw that coming. Now that is predictable and way too easy. So think before you say Harmony is.

@DaseyObsessed I think almost all couples can be predictable in some way. Hero ending up with a best friend? Predictable. Hero ending up with a best friend's sibling? Also predictable. My issue with H/Hr isn't the predictability its that I love H/Hr as friends and I'm a diehard H/G R/H shipper. But hey, we all like different ships and thats ok. The important thing is, we all love Harry potter! <3

I am so happy that they added this part. This should have been in the book. I love how Harry would do a silly dance in the midst of it all - Ron leaving, the Dark Lord rising, him being "The Chosen One", having to find horcruxes in the fear of being caught and failing everyone else - just to make Hermione feel better. Harmony(H/Hr) should have happened. As far as I can see, Romione is the only thing I would consider a 'flaw' in the saga.

@EnchantedSweetheart- Its not a friendship scene. The production team along with the crew made this scene as a what if situation. Just because some people choose to live by the books and see them as just friend in this scene, does not mean that's what it is. This scene is not canon so you can't apply canon into the moment. I hate canon shippers. They piss me off. The dance scene has a romantic undertone whether people want to see it or not because that is the direction it was taken in.

@DaseyObsessed Wrong. The lyrics itself is enough to understand what this scene really is about. Its nor romantic. Its friendship, but not only. Its about children who hae lost their childhood too early and are trying to get it back even for a little moment.
Besides, romantic would be nonsense as they have already made a scene after destroying the locket, explaining Harry and Hermione feelings. They love each other as a brother and sister, as a friends. Nothing romantic here.

If you can show me it, then Ill agree with you, even if still movie is based on book and Rowling was one of producers. And she clearly made Hermione loving Ron, not Harry. And, have you seen deleted scene after destroying the locket? Its explained there and its a part of movie.

@TheJustCreative- You've missed a lot of interviews than. The Dance scene is not based on the book because it isn't canon. So quit saying this scene is just friendship when it isn't. The dance is meant to have tension. Emma and Yates commented on it. Its a what if moment. In the end, they choose not to do anything. It doesn't matter what the song is, I still trust my own words and what most have been saying about it. You made a decision not to see anything romantic about it, but I disagree.

The song is important, they didnt just choosed any song. And stop saying its rmantic if you cant proove it. Hermione is depressed because Ron has left them, they're just kids surrounded by cruelty and they're the ones who must fight. They just wanted to be kids for a moment, thats why they danced and thats why they choosed that song. And I say it again: the scene after destroying the locket explains it.
