My voice teacher is quite the well Opera Singing Soprano around these parts. :) Leassons, there shouldnt be much trouble finding them, I'm sure with a great teacher, they'll mold you voice into a great soprnao voice within time! :) keep singing and practicing. if she's done choir training, or had singing lessons, its trained compared to a lot of voices that havent had any at all. difference between a child choir singer, and a senior rugby captain. there's a scale of how trained u r. The actual actress that sung this wasnt "trained" compared to some professionals out there. doesn't mean she's not trained.
I think you sound very sweet and innocent, which is how the song is SUPPOSED to sound in my opinion. Johanna is supposed to be a sweet young girl and too much vibratto makes her sound like an old woman. So there. You sang it just beautifully : )

Whata coincidence. I have to sing this for college state contest and I'm 16. This is a very interesting piece. I find it a tad challenging becasue there are several various places where the pitch completely changes.
Overall, it was good. I just would have liked to have heard more vibratto. And it sounded like you clipped some of the notes at the end of the phrases. Perhaps trying to take better breaths?
But, overall, it was good. I'm working on the same song and, to me, the hardest part is trying to sing with the accompaniment. Are you singing with a CD here? If so, would you mind telling me where I can find it?

F5 ("fly") and G5 ("stars") tend to be difficult notes for sopranos because they are near the break into the upper register. This may sound funny, but the notes would be easier if they were higher. And he made them on TERRIBLE words, words that make you want to drag down. Like "stars" can drag very easily if you don't modify the vowel and sing it like "stuhrs."
OMG you are even better than the Johanna in the movie! You have a very sweet, innocent, and light voice, just like Johanna should be =). 5/5 and faved.
