Definately not. All I am saying is that he is no where near as good as guys like George or Marco, in response to everyone thinking he is like the best drummer ever. He fits In Flames well, but other than that, he is a pretty bad drummer as far as modern drummers go.

Obviously. All I was stating is that he is not as good as George or Marco. Not by a long shot. Daniel is a perfect example of "Ooh, I am in a famous band, and therefore I have no need to push myself to become a better overall drummer." Just like Lars Urlich.
People, stop calling Daniel a 'great' or 'the best' drummer, when he is at best, an average drummer.
can you compare drummers at all? In my opinion Joey jordison is one of the best drummers but not vecause hes fast but because he's very technical but i also like Daniel and Jaska (from COB) and many other drummers :P
Of the three you mentioned, Jaska is by far the best. Don't even get me started on Joey. He is easily the most over-rated drummer ever. He is definately not technical, and even I was faster than him after only two years of playing.
Here is how I compare drummers: "Can drummer A play the stuff of drummer B, and vice versa." I keep referencing George and Marco, because they can literally play anything, and almost no one can do what they do. They are the pioneers of drumming.
