  • Congratulations on your 'great escape' and triumphant return my dear friend!!

The Year of Jacques...has a nice ring to it...looking forward to your next adventure!

    Deb

  • @DEBSFAVORITETHINGS

Hello Deb! Great to hear from you. Glad you've survived the very challenging weather down there.

I hope it's a good year for us both! Exciting... and just a little bit dangerous,

    Jacques Jr.

  • Dear Jacques....I am really glad ....you are finally free....

I hope you will have great weekend....enjoying your freedom.

    Greetings from Holland

    Marcella

  • @YTMarcella

Thank you dear Marcella. It's very nice to hear from you! I'll will never take my freedom for granted. Enjoying it big time. I hope you too have a great weekend,

    Jacques Jr.

  • Hello Jacques---

I hope all is well. Things are cold here with snow still on the ground. I see you are still busy hunting the hunted, lol.

    ----Later, James :-)

  • @BurgerChefGuy

Hello my old friend... good to hear from you! ...

But actually, I'm free as a bird and flying high in Paris (no hunting for another few months at least!)

Thanks very much for stopping by. Talk to you later & have a good weekend,

    Jacques

  • Oh dear. That did not go rather well. Sorry about that Jinto. Well, at least we can both look on the bright spot. And that is, you were not downsized to riding on a bicycle. I would also like to categorically point out, that Machiavelli has not warranted all the bad press he has received over the centuries, since he wrote that book. What was it? "The Prince". I'm going to have to check it out of the library and read it one of these days. Bye Jinto. Best of luck.

  • @packjim56

Jacques confiscated my car this morning.

Jim, may I please request -- with some urgency -- that you employ a greater degree of discretion as we move forward. Good luck with that book -- I very much hope that you find it to be helpful.

    J. Fong

  • @MrJintoFong. Oh dear. That is bad news. I feel just terrible Jinto. Oh well, at least now you won't have to worry about finding a parking spot, yes? Nevertheless, you have my promise, in future I will use more discretion. You know Jinto, I was only trying to help this fellow with a conservatorship for his ailing aunt, who is suffering from dementia. He lives in France too and I wasn't clear on what the law says there. No good deed goes unpunished. I shouldn't wonder.

  • Never mind Jinto, I was able to obtain the information I was seeking over the Internet. Very interesting article on how one goes about being appointed executor over someone else's estate. Be sure to delete these comments after you read them and before Jacques gets a look at them. We don't want him getting the wrong idea. I don't want to be responsible for him downsizing you to a bicycle.

  • @packjim56

    ATTENTION: JINTO FONG

As your employer, I hereby inform you that your yearly salary has been further reduced by 15%, effective immediately. I also demand that you cease and desist from engaging with Jim in any more of these Machiavellian communications. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

    Jacques Pierre Clouseau Jr.

  • I say Jinto, you might try deleting this message before Jacques gets a look at it. You know how he gets. Don't want to needlessly alarm the poor chap. At any rate, I have a question. Here in the US, the courts have things called "Competency Review Boards". Where various individuals can be deemed "fit" or "unfit" to conduct their own personal affairs, i.e. financial and/or otherwise. Do the French provincial courts where you live have similar institutions?

  • Jacques...so excited to hear of your escape! VICTORY is very sweet! You are indeed a brave man...and obviously a very happy one at the moment. Happy New Year...and good luck on your forthcoming adventures! Karen :)

  • @kvalle1

Thank you again dear and talented Karen.

My escape was one my sweetest victories of all,

    J A C Q U E S !

  • Oh, I'm so happy to hear that you are free - I feel as if a mountain had fallen off my shoulders and heart! And I'm really happy that you return wiser and stronger - that you got "life-lessons" out there! I'm so proud of you!;)

  • @snakarody

Snaky, I can hear your unburdened heart singing from across the Atlantic! What a sweet sound it is...

... but you must never fear mademoiselle, as long as Paris stands, I will always return home to her in triumph.

    You have my word,

    Jacques

  • Congratulations on your escape Jacques! A very fitting tune. I know you will apprehend the thief soon enough. Here's to hoping the next place you visit is a bit more friendly.

  • @JTuttle24

Thank you dear Jewel. Yes I will find the thief(s)! before too long.

...mind you, I'm thinking of taking a bit or R&R in Hawaii. I haven't done much surfing in my time, but I've watched a bit on TV and I have excellent natural balance so I'd like to see what all the fuss is about with the winter waves of the North Shore.

    Jacques

  • @ImaLanger

Thank you Mike! I shouldn't have favourites... but what a comment, what an honour!!

...but I don't believe a word about you growing. At most you have a very mild case of big stomach bones,

    Jacques

  • Congrats Jacques!

    Lots of luvs xox

  • @CDmagz

Thank you, my sweet buttercups. I wish for you a wonderful and happy New year!

    Jacques

  • Hi Jacques,

    Congratulations on your successful escape...

Hope to hear from you in the future!

    Warmest regards....always! : )

  • @IamHelenKeller

Hello dear Helene and thank you very much!

You will be hearing from me soon... that's a promise :-)

    Always your Detective,

    Jacques

    Jacques Jr.

  • Yay your free glad you comtinue your search for the diamond.

  • @Rutle

Thanks Cat. As sure as you've got a lovely bunch of coconuts, the search will go on,

    Jacques

  • A triumphant conclusion! A revolution in shape and form! A peregrination of many parts! "Like a cat in the sky..."

    Well done detective...where to next?

  • @haggidubious

Yes it was one big heck of a triumphant pregrination! Well said my astute ozzie friend.

I'm not sure of next.... it will be I suppose wherever the winds of chance take me.

Hawaii would certainly be warmer... and I've always wanted to test myself on the North Shore's winter waves.

    We shall see,

    Jacques

  • really great

  • @selenio999

    Thank you.

  • w00t!!! w00t!! and w00t!!! once more. A big congratulations to you for escaping from what must have a been the hell hole on Earth. Only one man could imancipate himself from such a place, and that is the Great Slueth himself, JACQUES CLOUSEAU!!! On top of that I wish you a happy new year. Freedom is a good way to start any year my frined. I love the Great Escape theme music and your vocals over the top of it was fantasique!!!

  • @europica

Thanks Pete! Many many thanks! Just what the doctor ordered... I have moments of doubt, but I really shouldn't. I'm the best and it's simply a reality I must come to terms with -- it was only matter of time before I escaped.

Thank you for being part of the Mission!!!

    Staying fantasique in 2011,

    Jacques Jr.

Thank you very much for all your support.

Looking forward to hearing some more of your music soon. Happy New Year to you my friend!

    Jacques

  • @backbounder

Willy, thank you very much. I have a real ear for music. I'm very talented,

    Jacques

  • I want you to know, I had every confidence in you Jacques. I never doubted your quick return for a moment. I'm also quite relieved it was unnecessary for Jinto to evoke Power of Attorney on your behalf, now that you're back in town. By the way, should you plan to return the land of your former host, might I be informed of such a move in advance? So that I might light a candle for you, to ensure a safe and successful venture.

  • @packjim56

Ah, yes Jim, I'm sure you're relieved, very very relieved...

Jinto will send his regards... as soon as he arrives at the office, having finally located a parking spot (for his newly down sized car).

Keep a candle ready my friend,

    Jacques

  • So glad to hear of your triumphant return Great Detective. I think I shall have a glass wine and a baguette of bread tonight for dinner.

  • @ScottyMayhaw

That's an idea! And a bit of Camembert, chicken and lemon juice maybe...

Thank you & good luck, Great Guitarist,

    Jacques Jr.

  • A warm welcome home!!! Are you ok Jacque?

  • @japanesesen

Thank you dear Japa!! Yes, I'm good as gold. I've put on two kilos (mostly muscle) since yesterday!

    Keep well & talk soon,

    Jacques

  • Jacques! You are safe and free! Excellent! I called-in all of my favors to no avail...I was reminded, I had no one in debt...em. So, we marched here in town with signs saying "Free Jacques!". You sound great! It's good to hear your again!

  • @HarveyEspatchelowe

Maybe I should put out an album, as soon as I've finished writing my memoirs...

Thank you my friend for all your efforts, calls, marching, rioting and what not! Every nit helped!

    Good to be back!

    Jacques Jr.
