Last year we had a lot of C5s coming into Chaniber Field ( NAS Norfolk), but this year I see more C-17s and 130s. A lot C5s are getting rebuilt as C5Ms, with their TF 39s being replace with CF-6s.
C-130 has been in the service for many years. Japan doesn't even fly them that much more then America does that's why I said that the C-130 is mostly used by the United States Air Force. If you knew alot about the C-130, you would know. I actually see this plane all the time at the base I stay at, plus I been on one before and it sure as hell looks nice in the inside.
Your an idiot for starting with someone you don't even know on the internet seriously grow up. I already told you, if you don't understand then thats your problem. Why don't you go do some research on the C-130 instead of sitting there calling people in idiot on youtube. You wouldn't like it if someone mess with you I bet so why would you mess with them ?
a) start making sense first b)i knwo alot about the c 130 c) im not messing with you im just stating the obvious witch anyone who has a brain level above idiot would understand but the again your the guy who thought that japan didnt use the c 130
You said you didn't even know about the C-130 which you don't. America uses the C-130 more then Japan does so that makes it more of a American plane. How do I know ? Because I actually did research on it plus Im in the Military so I should know this. Yes you are messing with me. Don't judge anyone you don't know. Conversation Close!
first you said japan doesent use them and they you said that it is better used by americans it's obvious the u.s. air force has more you didnt say america uses more of them in the first place and im not judging you just pointiong out that japan does have them wich sparked this conversation
Well here is what I find. In December 2006 the C-130 became the fifth aircraft after the English Electric Canberra, B-52 Stratofortress, Tupolev Tu-95, and KC-135 Stratotanker to mark 50 years of continuous use with its original primary customer, in this case, the United States Air Force. So pretty much it has serve the same years as the B-52
They also have a newer model which is the C-130J Super Hercules. Im sure most of you have heard of it. It's a little bit bigger then the old one. There is one at my base.
Since when the hell did the Japan Air Force use the C-130 ? The C-130 is mostly used by the United States Air Force and the Royal Air Force. I don't know where the hell you got the idea that the Japan Air Force uses the C-130 and learn how to spell force next time.
nop the mexican air force have a 10 planes c-130 mostly used for rescue and logistic purposes they evacuate near a million people en tabasco state, sup'orted for helicopters.
Well I never seen Japan use C130's before, But I know alot of other countries use them as well. It's like a plane you must have in the service. If they retire it then there would be problems.
Yeah, your thinking C-17, not C-130. Everyone and their brother has a fleet of C-130s. Also, the US (185), UK (6), Canada (4), Australia (4), Qatar and UAE have some on order, and India appears to be ordering some soon.
So neither the C-130 or C-17 is a 'US and UK' system.
130 can do a little better than that vid, but more surprisingly that 17 can pull a bit more steeper too. Both great planes and not bad at all to work on.
haha I worked on the flight line there for 3 years

Impressive aircraft, Do the C5s get much use anymore? They are so large and I hear that they have had problems with frame fractures.

Common Joke is that when your driving down the road and you see three C-5's all up on jacks,.... it just means they ran out of jacks

I...I don't get it.

half a century so far correct? if they improve the technology over the years i think that can make a record in the history books

I think the C-17 has already broken a record, Im not sure what it is I have to look it up and see.

the J model has awesome improvements to the cargo & flight compartment. It also uses 3 bladed props compared to the 4 bladed on the regular hercs
Aneon77 2 years ago
Yeah it has new engines, new flight deck new everything. The improvements are so good that it kicks the old models right out of the air.
cortes1988 2 years ago
lol, btw I meant 6 bladed props, not 3
Aneon77 2 years ago
lol yeah I was about to say 3 props ?
