If anyone hasn't seen one of these dances live, I would suggest they do. It's fascinating to sit there, and find yourself slowly going into a trance-like state of mind. The drums, the chants, the dancers moving in strides, back and forth... I found myself in a trance-like state after about a minute, and NO I wasn't under the influence of any substance. Very enchanting to watch these rituals that haven't changed in centuries.

@umhalil ......I have sent some "bad medicine" the way of the stain, it should begin to notice the not so pleasant albeit subtle effects almost immediately....depending on the merits of the response if any the human excrement will either notice the "bad luck" increase to the point of abject despair or decrease in accordance with "good works" rendered ....karma can be a real bitch ;- )

Did you have a good Easter break ? Just got back from a few days in Cairns with the kids, staying at a resort.

Still waiting on my police report (concealed weapons licence) picked out my first two pieces a Beretta 9mm and Glock 9mm, I shot in the club competition for the first time on Easter Sunday and did better than I expected using a club gun which was not sighted in for me, cant wait to get my own pieces ;- )

@OdinsHenchman I do more Announcing at Pow-Wow these days, but there will be a few Gatherings coming up where I can get my Niece to put on Camera while Dancing, this Summer. I won`t forget. Ha! 9mm Glock eh? Good one;. I used to go shooting with a couple of Co-Workers a few years back, and practiced with 45 Revolver (Colt) and a 357 Magnum long barrel, Like Dirty Harry! HAHAHA! What a recoil on THAT one!

This IS really COOL. It reminds me of the dancers we had in EVERY parade (up in the tri-state area), and the guys with the tomahawks used to come at us kids, just to scare us! I never did find it scary, just LOVED the costumes, and recall the drums and great bass voices, beating inside of my chest!

Really do LOVE these videos, though it's not exactly like being there!

And, AM truly thrilled that (almost all of) the assholes who chose this vid to say stupid things about are GONE!!

I as a wildland firefighter worked side by side with Joe Still-Smoking and his cousin Janice on some of the rankest fires ever! I was a hazard tree faller, going in and taking out all the dangerous trees so my brothers & sisters didn't have to worry about getting thumped! The Blackfeet are world class firefighters. None better. AHO
