what are the "contactor" and "data Aqcuisition" devices for?

The contactor is used to send battery power to the weapon motor. The data acquisition is for troubleshooting and gathering performance data about the components during a fight (motor current draw, battery voltage, rpm, temperature, those sorts of things).
