ohhhh!! this is SO beautiful, Corrine. I love Faure's songs and this is a real gem amongst gems. How you sing it is wondrous - really. To say nothing of the stupendous quality of the recording! (sniff!) I listened yesterday and started to think about it in the night so have got up for another listen. I quite like the feeling of allowing happy memories and strong feelings to drift back for a life left behind in rural France all mixed up in this music. I want climb into the song and stay there!
