nice review ! And great comparison , great review !
@rodrigosendas It"s the kind of knife you'd rather clip to your pocket, without a sheath. Perhaps others can recommend nicely fitting sheaths for the Persistence?
I noticed that you said that you had cut yourself on the Tenacious, that seems to happen quite frequently actually. I have one coming in the mail and I know that it's just a matter of time before the first cut lol!
you make very nice reviews..always trying to be as unbiased as possible...nicely bringing up the pros and cons..got to say i love your accent though! ;) where are you from, if that's not a rude question to ask?
@trafficjuzz It's not a rude question! I'm from Belgium, flemish-speaking part; which is in essence much the same as dutch but it sounds a bit different. Most people over here have a less heavy accent when speaking english though!
Excellent reviews. I have been rotating a Tenacious as an EDC for some time now and could not have described it better. A very good all around inexpensive knife.
I was already pretty sure I wanted a Tenacious. You have put it at the top of my list!
I have a Byrd Robin G10 and love it when it's open. But closed it has a lot of width to go with the length. Tenacious looks so much better when closed. Also liner or frame lock are my favorites!
Your laptop, digital camera and TV are most likely also made in China. Knives are a lot simpler to make than a laptop or LCD TV, hence it's no surprise that these models made to Spyderco's standards do indeed offer good value.
Great review, as always. I had picked up a Persistence some time back, and it is indeed a nice knife for the price. However, the wide profile made it a little difficult to carry and I ended up trading it.
great video .. just what i was looking for .. thank you

Cool knives, but I can't get past the lack of a finger choil on the blade.

Just want to say that I love your reviews! I particularly love how much you handle the knives- it really gives perspective on how the knife handles

what would be a good sheat for the persistence?

@rodrigosendas sorry if this has already been answered, but you dont need a sheath. you fold the blade into its self and clip it to your pocket

@rodrigosendas Custom made Kydex is probably the only option. Unless you go with a general purpose nylon sheath.
BuffaloWarrior7 8 months ago
@rodrigosendas why would you want to carry this in a sheath? Just carry it in your pocket, after all, it is a pocket knife.

Which one should I get for EDC?????
BoFa9la 1 year ago
@BoFa9la I would go for the Persistence. The Tenacious is a bit big for EDC. All in my opinion, of course!
MrDagon007 1 year ago
@MrDagon007 thnx I think I'll get both:)

This comment has received too many negative votes show
that crap is made in china. so much for the quality.

Where it's made makes no difference. There are lots of knives made in the US that don't have as good quality control.
Hitari0 2 years ago
location is irrelevant. quality controls set by the company is what matters.
