i'm american i went to fes and absolutly was enchanted with the place, i stayed in a rhiad behind the blue gate it a place that right out of arabian night fes is definately a place to see. fes has so many beautiful old buildings, foods and mosaics, the people treated me very well if you go with a positive outlook and the mindset of sharing happiness you will enjoy morrocco. the only warning is to avoid guides they take you to places with inflated prices to get a cut. negotiate on your own.

I welcome anyone that want to visit morocco, it's a beatiful country with lots of diffirent cultures and landscapes. One advice: visit morocco in spring or autumn when it's less expensive and less crowded. the landscape is also far more beatiful in the spring. because the summer can be very dry.

I've just got back from a few days in Fes. Amazing place but my advice to anyone going there- you cannot be too careful. It starts on the train where u get casually talking to a friendly guy, who offers u a guide to show u around for a reasonable price, because 'Fes is a very dangerous maze'. It's all bullshit. Do not trust anyone even your hotel-riad staff. If u find yourself sitting in a carpet shop drinking mint tea, please RUN. U are being scammed by gangsters. U do not need a guide.

I welcome anyone that want to visit morocco, it's a beatiful country with lots of diffirent cultures and landscapes. One advice: visit morocco in spring or autumn when it's less expensive and less crowded. the landscape is also far more beatiful in the spring. because the summer can be very dry.

Please people, stop with the discriminating comments! I've been to Morroco with my husband. He's moroccan. Is a wonderful country. U just have to know where to go. Don't trust street guides. Go with a ,local friend or rent a professional guide. The people are so nice, the food is extraordinary and so cheap for shopping. And for girls who felt attacked for wearing short pants: if u dress like a bitch in a place where decency is priced u asked for it. When in Rome u must do like the Romans...

I've just got back from a few days in Fes. Amazing place but my advice to anyone going there- you cannot be too careful. It starts on the train where u get casually talking to a friendly guy, who offers u a guide to show u around for a reasonable price, because 'Fes is a very dangerous maze'. It's all bullshit. Do not trust anyone even your hotel-riad staff. If u find yourself sitting in a carpet shop drinking mint tea, please RUN. U are being scammed by gangsters. U do not need a guide.

we got many Moroccan immigrants in my country Belgium. many people don't like them because they don't integrate, do crime and don't have jobs.

And yes - it can be splitted into parts where "tourists" don't go and people are really very friendly and where "tourists" go .... and local people are being way more spoiled and less friendly.
Anyways my point is - YOU MUST BE REALLY VERY LIMITED PERSON.

This is a great video. We have just spent 10 days in Morocco and some of them in Fez. An amazing place but as the producer says two or three days in Fez is enough. Shukran for the film! I shall return to it again just to recall our trip.
