Well, I don't know the original song, but I think your playing is not slow, I even think you play it at absolutely 100% right speed (that's for the first half of song, before you changed tempo few times.)

So if original song goes faster, tell them they play it wrong. :)

Yes - I listened it again - I think that first 20 seconds are played with the most accurate tempo - after that you played it a bit faster and I can't feel the music that much any more, as the first 20 seconds.

lol For some reason I tend to change tempos in the middle of songs. I guess it's because I forget to think about what I'm doing, since I'm listening to the song and enjoying the feel of playing it.;)

The best is when you listen your song and forget that you play it - and your fingers follow the inspiration.

My "exercize" for fingers is playing "Killing me softly" 2 times faster, then 3 times, 5 times and more... it helps me to synchronize both hands. And it sounds so crazy that I'm afraid that they would put me to jail for playing like that. :)))
