One of the reasons why my baby daddy and I can't be together is because when our daughter was born the doctors told us that if she lived she would be a vegetable but my family and I prayed and she is still here three years later and healthy. Her father took it really hard and really never recovered and doesn't really accept her. If he had faith he would have known that God would make a way out of no way if its in His will. Perhaps Cain's wife was his sister (during this time their dna would've been "pure", their offspring most likely would be free of mutations or deformities). Then you have religions like Christianity and Catholics condemning homosexuals. They are condemned to burn in hell not for what they do but for who they are. Women are inferior in the bible. Well I have a lack of faith because in my opinion man created religion in order to give a divine spiritual being the power to do the impossible. Like if someone has no chance to overcome an illness then pray and their is a slim possible chance. I don't credit miracles to a divine being just because I can't explain it. Great video, feel there is only one thing that needs pointed out. Evolution does not teach that human evolved from apes but rather that they share a common ancestor. The same way that elephants and manatees have a common ancestor. Those pics you see of apes gradually turning into man are completely wrong. There were multiple steps from this ancestor to evolve into human & few to the apes/monkeys. btw I believe deeply in God, I just feel people should really know about what evolution is.

As an atheist, I'm ok with religion. Why? Well, if thinking you came from monkeys and from the mud on the ground millions of years ago makes you feel terrible, who am I to tell you it's bad to believe you have a higher power watching over you and that you came from it, if in the end (in my belief..) life will end anyway! Afterwards, it was influenced by Greek philosophy along with European Empires in the 15th century and they began spreading their religious views and forced it upon their colonization in every continent which almost destroyed other civilizations such as the aboriginal cultures in America. I've got to ask but when you talk about miracles like people surviving against all odds, what about the people who don't make it? Is this because they are worst people? There's children who have never hurt a person in their lives who die of cancer and serial killers who live till they are 90. Our Home Boy didn't accuse anyone of being good or bad people, I think he referred to the power of FAITH. I understand you completely, I think the same way about this topic... At the end everybody has a different reality. Respect is essential and the final argument to somebody that doesnt think the same as us. We can try to help or share our ideas, and pray for them and leave it in God's hands (our reality), but if the other person is not trying to hear it, well we wont gain anything by arguing or telling them what they believe is wrong. We just let them see Jesus's power manifest in our lives. :)
For me the only sensible reason to believe in god of any kind is some kind of personal experience of that god. If you're raised to believe in something to me it "doesn't look" like you're really believing in what you say you're believing in, if you believe in god just because you've been taught to believe in god. I write god with lower cap because I don't mean any specific god but god as a "consept" :)
I used to date a guy who did believe in a "higher" power but just did not know whether to call that higher power God. Being a Christian, this relationship did not work out but I listened to some of his arguments and I must say he just was unstable and had a lot of fucked up views that did not make sense to me. Like seriously how be a human being and live life not having anything to believe in? It doesn't make sense to me and I wish I knew an atheist to have a convo with.
I do consider myself to be an atheist and ppl would believe that if I told them I come from a very religion fam a couple of my elder cousins are preachers. It's too much going on in the world to not believe in anything. At the end of the day Faith is all a person really has nothing else is for certain. I definitely believe there is a God but Im not sure about organized religion just because i see the way it divides people sometimes. I'm 15 and go to a catholic school, and i sit in religion class and the teacher is going on and on about how we need to go out and convert everyone, save them, that kind of stuff. Then she goes on to say that God is all forgiving and all loving. If that's true, then why would he send people to hell? it's like the things she teaches totally contradict themselves
@5DeepHustla It's not so much the religion but the people who exclude others or are judge mental of others who believe differently (and I realize thats just a small portion of religious people who do this- not everyone). My aunt (who is almost like a second mother to me) was completely shut out by her mother and everyone on her mother's side of the family when she came out as a lesbian. This may not be a logical reason to have doubts, but that experience just made me feel a little iffy about it
Also, I find it very interesting that you can see why we are Atheists and you acknowledge our evidence, but you still have faith in God. You're very intelligent and I appreciate this video. One of the reasons why my baby daddy and I can't be together is because when our daughter was born the doctors told us that if she lived she would be a vegetable but my family and I prayed and she is still here three years later and healthy. Her father took it really hard and really never recovered and doesn't really accept her. If he had faith he would have known that God would make a way out of no way if its in His will. Great video, feel there is only one thing that needs pointed out. Evolution does not teach that human evolved from apes but rather that they share a common ancestor. The same way that elephants and manatees have a common ancestor. Those pics you see of apes gradually turning into man are completely wrong. Cuz i find that most people that claim to believe in God are just people that need some answers. Basically-- The Word "God" In a way serves as Y or X in an algebraic equation, if u know what i mean. FOr example "Where did the Universe come from?(ORG)" To an atheist the equation looks like this. ORG = Y to a Theist ORG = GOD. And this works becuz when u ask a theist what they mean by ORG = GOD They rele dnt know.

@uzoma0024 very true, Christianity..the Church was also rooted in Jewish people in Jerusalem. Afterwards, it was influenced by Greek philosophy along with European Empires in the 15th century and they began spreading their religious views and forced it upon their colonization in every continent which almost destroyed other civilizations such as the aboriginal cultures in America. I am more of an agnostic whom believes in the existence of a greater power but not a specific man made religion.

I've got to ask but when you talk about miracles like people surviving against all odds, what about the people who don't make it? Is this because they are worst people? There's children who have never hurt a person in their lives who die of cancer and serial killers who live till they are 90. Surviving a 1 in a million chance isn't a miracle, it has to happen to somebody.

Our Home Boy didn't accuse anyone of being good or bad people, I think he referred to the power of FAITH. People who "don't make it didn't need to make, the one's who made it are spared-by a MIRACLE, for a divine purpose as part of their life's lesson plan. I understand you completely, I think the same way about this topic... At the end everybody has a different reality. Respect is essential and the final argument to somebody that doesnt think the same as us. We can try to help or share our ideas, and pray for them and leave it in God's hands (our reality), but if the other person is not trying to hear it, well we wont gain anything by arguing or telling them what they believe is wrong. We just let them see Jesus's power manifest in our lives. :)

For me the only sensible reason to believe in god of any kind is some kind of personal experience of that god. If you're raised to believe in something to me it "doesn't look" like you're really believing in what you say you're believing in, if you believe in god just because you've been taught to believe in god. I write god with lower cap because I don't mean any specific god but god as a "consept" :)

I used to date a guy who did believe in a "higher" power but just did not know whether to call that higher power God. Being a Christian, this relationship did not work out but I listened to some of his arguments and I must say he just was unstable and had a lot of fucked up views that did not make sense to me. Like seriously how be a human being and live life not having anything to believe in? It doesn't make sense to me and I wish I knew an atheist to have a convo with.

I do consider myself to be an atheist and ppl would believe that if I told them I come from a very religion fam a couple of my elder cousins are preachers. I'm an atheist and I think it's more likely for an atheist to survive accidents and that, because we accept that the life we have is all we have, with no heaven to go to where more likely to fight for our lives untill the last moment.

It's too much going on in the world to not believe in anything. At the end of the day Faith is all a person really has nothing else is for certain. I personally believe in God he's been with me through it all, and just like you I've seen a lot. I will say that there are some controversial statements in the bible, but I won't question it. Simply because I'd rather continue to praise the one that's been there for me when no one else was. Also, no one can prove those theories to be right or wrong.

doctors are wrong A LOT of the time. it is possible for them to think someone's dead when they really aren't. so the person didn't "come back," they simply never left.
2. how do people survive crazy accidents/situations?
depends on the situation, but using a car crash as an example, something as simple as having your body in one position or another can be the difference between life and death.

I definitely believe there is a God but Im not sure about organized religion just because i see the way it divides people sometimes. I'm 15 and go to a catholic school, and i sit in religion class and the teacher is going on and on about how we need to go out and convert everyone, save them, that kind of stuff. Then she goes on to say that God is all forgiving and all loving. If that's true, then why would he send people to hell? it's like the things she teaches totally contradict themselves

@5DeepHustla It's not so much the religion but the people who exclude others or are judge mental of others who believe differently (and I realize thats just a small portion of religious people who do this- not everyone). My aunt (who is almost like a second mother to me) was completely shut out by her mother and everyone on her mother's side of the family when she came out as a lesbian. This may not be a logical reason to have doubts, but that experience just made me feel a little iffy about it

I really liked what you said about studies done that show that people who have faith are better at undergoing physical trauma. That is so true! It does not hurt,but helps in alot of ways! Thanks!

I've looked into several religions and currently I'm having mixed beliefs which makes me Agnostic , Which is the belief that I do not acknowledge nor disbelieve the existance of any God , I thought I was athiest but I'm not 100% sure I guess that's where my lack of faith is

i just want to ask the atheiststhis question. i believe the big bang did happen, suposedly some particles reacted with eachother and blew up and created everything. so what created the particles and the energy needed to react, what created the protons neutrons and electrons thathad to reararange to create everything???

If the atheist do not believe in God rather he know it or not he is serving Satan. The lord say chose this day whom you will serve, because you can't serve two God's. Atheist are being deceived by satan himself they jusy don't no it yet. After death every man will stand befoer GOD and be judged if you have rejected him and not except Christ as your Saviour you will not enter Heaven. At that point he will know God exist but it will be to late.

the more one really looks at how reality functions, the more they realize that if there is a God, he is not all powerful, and he is by no means all loving..also, the universe is anything but intelligently designed..it's complex, but nothing suggests design..all evidence points to complexity arising from extreme simplicity via unintelligent, unguided, natural laws over a very long time..we look at how reality is, and can't accept it, so we invent a god to make sense of it all.
