  • To add: I found that the best results for consistent aim is with the ((( PMI Premium by RP Scherer ))) paint balls. They are two tone and half the shell of each ball is very hard; making breakage very unlikely. Very accurate too!!!

  • Yeah I agree but I believe there are other factors with the mags themselves. Depending on the type of balls you use, the mags will break the first ball after shooting. This may be due to the spring, but I believe its the fact that after one shot, the mag cycles throw the rounds too hard. I cut five links off my springs and still get a breaks sometimes. If I use field paint I won't get breaks but my aim will slightly be off due to the indents.

  • If you're getting dimples from ball on ball contact, then the spring tension is too high.

Also in the video, you didn't clean out the ball breaks. If you're going to shoot through ball breaks, you're going to get more ball breaks no matter what paint quality you get.

  • Good vid but my real issue with my marker (x7 Phenom/Tacamo) is with the mags themselves. Once I load my gun with a full mag, the paintballs begin to get an indent in them. I am using .687 paintballs that the local field uses (FPO). I tested all five of my mags and found that after 1 or 2 minutes of having a full mag loaded, most balls would have an indent in the balls; making my shots very inconsistent. Any help on this matter???? Other than that the mags work great and are very durable.

  • Great video. I just realized that with my magazines from my own troubleshooting. I also second what KristyandAaron said if you known what brands in Canada should be used to have the most uniform balls for your magazines. Also, I am looking at getting pouches to carry the T68 20 round magazines, but I am unable to locate the dimensions of the magazines so I can ask the retailers if they will fit the magazines. If you have a link that says it that would be great.

  • Hey I live in Canada and I think it would be helpful to know what kind of paint you recommend we use in our guns. Could you get a list together and post back on here? Thanks!

  • @JohnRap4 I totally realize that that's what he has on. My point is that younger players may not realize that. As a paintball company you guys are responsible for setting the example other players follow. Encouraging other players to always wear a paintball mask, and not just ballistic glasses, when shooting a marker should be your main concern.

  • This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a bunch. Is there a place I can get those sizing calipers?

  • @Pillowflame Every hardware store should sell calipers.
