  • It's a nice touch that Bats turns into a harp-playing angel after he dies. That's a really old cartoon convention and it fits in perfectly with the Joker's mad design.

  • @70bellboy I thought Harley is a new character that they came up with in the 90s for Batman TAS.

  • @Hanna71617 I think the intention was to make her LOOK LIKE an older character by using a fake-outdated design. Possibly.

  • They should make a DCAU & Brave and the Bold crossover where all the justice league members go wtf after seeing this batman and joker

  • Why is Harley wearing black instead of her regular costume?

  • @Hanna71617 because the animators of this show draw everyone what they looked like in the 1940's comics, and harley looks like she looked like in the old comics

  • @70bellboy Then Blue beetle 3 is what?

  • @70bellboy Harley was created for BTAS in the 90s and then brought over to the comics.

  • I loved this bat man the animated series 4 ever

  • Wtf

  • ok ok who gave the joke lsd .last time he destroyd my house god dammit....fucking lsd.....

    hehehehe SWAG

  • Curse you, Joker.

  • Did they really play this music in the episode?

  • @batmenace15 no.

  • This has to be the only time an elaborate trap worked.

  • @DetachedArtist yeah The Joker anticipated he would free himself, and placed giant hammer to squash when he does...

  • this is way more gruesome then the animated series

  • THEY MESSED UP HARLEY

    !!!!!!!

  • Kids show Ladies and Gentlemen xD

  • ouch...harley...that voice...its like a chipmunk..

  • how does batmite not have an emotional trauma after seeing all that?

  • this is pretty fucked up for a kids show

  • 2:07 BATMAN! Y U NO USE SHARK REPELLENT?!

  • THIS SHOW RUINED HARLEY AND THE JOKER !!

  • @barch118 HOW SO ??

  • @Edmino14 Watch Batman the animated series and you'll see.

  • @tylerdw100 I did. That's what got me into Batman.

That does not answer my question, though.

  • @Edmino14 just go on my channel and watch episodes

  • @123multitaskerclone Nope.avi

  • @tylerdw100 I fail to see your point.

Is it "HURR DURR NOT BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES SO ITS NOT KEWL" ?

  • @Edmino14 If you say you seen Batman the animated series then you should know that not Harley orginal look,The show is self is too childish, and the joker seems to goofy and not the insanse we know.I know what you thinking "It still a cartoon TV show and not every Batman show have to be like BTAS" but that so show was so good and it really help bring out the character exactly like in the comic book.

  • @tylerdw100 Have you seen "Legends of the Dark Knight"?

In one of the stories the kids told, the characters were like this.

Sure, Bob may have made Batman perfect for dark stories, but there was a time when that was not the case.

He has the most wacky adventures, he smiled, and used alliteration.

It's not the Adam West show. It's the Silver Age. There WERE comic books.

As for Harley, she's a relatively new character. They made her differently. That's the end of that.

  • @tylerdw100 are you a fucking retard? i have no problem with the occasional spelling error or missing word, and the common excitement where you jump ahead of yourself and mix your sentence up but you are like typing with the mental capacity of a barely literate child.

  • @hopefulmiracle01 It's my own personal business how I write on youtube as long as you people understand them I dont care what you said.

  • @tylerdw100 it certainly is your business if you want to sound like a moron in our minds, but the fact is i only understand you if i decipher the dipshit to english with the help of my retarded cousin from alabama. his parents are only second cousins. so are your parents first cousins or brother and sister?

  • Everything is improved by the Benny Hill music

  • 13 Batman deaths watch this video

  • I didn't watch the show, but from what I can see this is based off this story arc in the comics that happened called Emperor Joker. In Emperor Joker, Joker gets some ridiculous reality-altering powers and kills Batman, revives him, kills him again every day eventually causing mental trauma. Superman eventually comes to the rescue and erases Batman's memory of the events so he snaps out of the trauma. Google it.

  • The music makes it so much worse.

  • 0:24 The Joker does have a point...

  • You got to hand it to Joker, he is creative.

  • this is a kids show?

  • Dam cartoons mess up with the comics.............. One of the ways they defeated Joker is because they knew he wouldn't kill or wipe Batman out of existence

  • I think that this episode was the writers going "you think this series is too light and kiddy...WELL FUCK YOU!"

  • @TestMonkey254 Well some of it was

  • Nice try Joker, BLARGH

  • @irishskate Actually he did really do this in the comics since he has the power to bring him back as many times as he wants. He will only kill Batman if it doesn't permanently get rid of him.

  • What did they do to my Harley!??

  • this show should never have been made! >_______<

  • terrible harley and joker voices, going to kill myself now, holy fuck.

  • WTF no blood.

  • Let's get something straight; Jeff Bennett, the Joker voice here is a very talented person. He played Johnny Bravo, voices in Ren and Stimpy, Freakazoid, Pinky and the Brain, Baldur's Gate, Camp Lazlo, Chowder, Regular Show, Young Jsutice, Aladin....and so much more.

His casting was clearly to capture that kooky joker from the older comics/show.

  • So how is Batman still alive?

  • His voice sounds way too English.....and this is coming from an English person.

  • ...the fuck did I just watched?

  • I'm surprised no-one is bothered by the character design of this joker, I know early on in the comics he looked similar to this but he just looks awful.

  • Look, guys. I know why you don't like this voice for the Joker; I understand why, it's not a joker voice. But the guys a friggin' cartoon veteran: he's been in shows like Dexter's Lab, The Powerpuff girls, tons of CN's best. I just can't hate the guy, even if he isn't the best voice for Joker.

  • I can't hate the Brave and the Bold. They went through shitloads of awesome territory. Emperor Joker, Sherlock Holmes, I think they had a little Damian Wayne in there too.

  • Joker: There's only one thing wrong in our relationship... MY VOICE!

  • Wait...are his henchmen Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton? Just hulked out?

  • I think that they did a good job with the jokers logic in this show, but its too cartoony. If this was in the dark knight movies it would shed a little more light on some things... just keep out the irrationality

  • 1:22 Batman goes to heaven? i always thought he'd go to hell for being, you know, actually quite a bad person despite being on the good guys' side... :D

  • @GortosXtreme Granted, the fact that Batman exists in the same universe as aliens, amazons, green lanterns, a speed force, the anti-life equation, and the reality that death is a mild annoyance that only lasts for about a year, pretty much proves that there is no god in the DC universe.

  • @KilldozerRocks I don't see the connection :P Depends on the author, I guess.

  • Problem, Batman?

  • this is why joker rocks eveyone knows he could win if he kinda tooked things a bit more SERIOUSLY lol but we love his joking toonish side. espcily in a cartoon?

  • *hugs batmite* is ok, sugah...Mr. J is just...just having some fun..some horrible brain scaring fun!

I personally detest this Joker, the voice is wrong...among other things...They tried to bring back the silver age an only managed this twisted tarnished about as funny as a dead fish on dead grass funny assault on all things Joker, Batman, and heck why not, all things adorkably campy. Batman camp died with Cesar Julio Romero, Jr (God rest his mustashioed soul) and it needs to stay that way.

  • this was oddly based off of a superman story...

  • What the hell is this?

  • @PhyscoZombieChickie personally, i don't consider it "campy." it's just slightly less dark, like the batman comics from the '40s and '50s era. and this series is true to the comics and i enjoy this series a lot! for me, it's up there with "batman the animated series" and "the new batman adventures!" i wish that the new batman series coming in 2013, "beware the batman", would begin at the start of batman's career, rather than taking place after this series! i hope they get kevin conroy!

  • i cant ake this seris seriously i thought batman was an escape artist!?

  • @irishdate- Two things. It's only early on that Joker doesn't wanna kill him. Too much "fun" to be had first. As it wears on, not only does he wanna off Batman, he won't let anyone else come close if he can help it. In this, he can bring him back ad nauseam (or nausea as it seems for Bat-mite and Harley ) so he delights in evening up the win-loss ratio.

  • 1:20 Well that was classic

  • this is NOT the real joker, the real joker wouldn't have actually killed him........whats the fun in that?

  • @irishskate He only killed him because he knew he could revive him. What better way to toture a man both physcially and mentally than to make him go through death countless of times, only to keep being revived for that purpose? The only other villian that I can possibly think of to be that dark is Darkseid himself, and he's pretty much the god of evil. So before people decide to like your comment, know that indeed this is what the Joker would have done to his all-time archenemy, the Batman.

  • @irishskate Indeed, though in this case the Joker can just respawn him and do the whole thing over. And what better way to drive Batman to lunacy, to prove that even the strongest will can be broken, than to kill him over and over and over for all eternity.

In this case, the rules just changed so that death wouldn't stop the fun.

  • @irishskate This did happen in the comics, he kept reviving him, because he couldn't stand being in a world without The Batman.

  • @irishskate:

That's because death WAS permanent. So kill Batman? No more fun because he doesn't come back. But what if you can REVIVE him too? Endless killing fun with one person.

  • THIS IS A KIDS SHOW??

  • Why is Joker wearing a condom on his head? I don't want to know what it's filled with

  • @Xtheemowolf it's supposed to be a whoopie cushion

  • @ttclpuccadrama Isn't that what they're called? Cushions for making whoopie?

  • where the hell did he get so many batmans?!?!?!?

  • @noone15000 In this episode,Joker has the powers of Bat Mite,so he can ressurect Batman everytime he wants.

  • I think that this Harley's voice isn't as good as the TAS Harley<3

  • Robin:batman was my friend and you BASTARDS KILLED HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is a kids show right?

  • @BEFIREFLY yes this is in fact a kids show it helps children learn sometimes the bad guys win

  • OMG,they killed Batman!

    You bastards!

  • If you think about it, this is pretty damn morbid.

  • this show was a joke

  • @ultimatesly an awesome AWESOME joke. XD

  • What....the fuck? :S

  • Damn. Joker has a damn good point. If you reduce him to Bruce Wayne then he isnt as frightening.

  • oh my god its PEE WEES DEATH TRAP!

  • I FUKING HATE THIS JOKER'S VOICE!!!!!!!!

  • @OvalEnd15

How can you hate johnny bravo?

  • @OvalEnd15 stop being such a BABY and enjoy the show

  • @chino19963 i can't wen he sounds like a gay butler

  • @OvalEnd15 i could tell you are one the MOST immature batman fans EVER

  • @OvalEnd15 Brave and The Bold tries to emulate the early years of Batman, colorful and abstract, right? I think the voice fits this Joker swimmingly. I don't think Mark Hamill would fit an early, strange funnier Joker. I love Mark's Joker, but they're two different Jokers, if that makes sense.

  • @OvalEnd15 yeah it sucks and so does Harleys

  • how does he come back to life everytime

  • @Prodrocks1677 Basically joker has the powers of a god. so Joker can revive batman all he wants.

  • @Prodrocks1677 emporer joker. he got these wierd powers that gave him magic

  • I laughed so fucking hard when the hammer crushed him.

    "Nice try joke-*SMUSH*"

  • Wow. Is it me, or is the latest batman cartoon kind of dark? 0_0

Think about it. We just saw Batman get murdered repeatedly. We didn't get to see anything graphic, but if I were a kid I'd probably be traumatized.

  • Harle looks like a Marilyn Monroe rip off

  • I don't mind other voice actors trying to do the Joker voice beside Mark Hamill, as I liked the voice actor for the Joker in Under the Red Hood - but this voice actor here is simply just awful.

  • @kurvos He's parodying Cesar Romaro from the Adam West series partially, as well as the one from the Superfriends (same basic character design as well). The actor you're looking for in Under the Red Hood is John DiMaggio (Bender, Jake the Dog, etc.).

  • @10Reapaer01 I am not "looking for him" - I can check IMDB if I care enough, thank you very much. And those series are awful. There should be no reason to parody or pay homage to that in a entire series. The animated series already did it in one episode called "Tales of the Dark Knight". There was no point in doing a new shitty series like this one to show the ridiculous side of Batman once again - it should just stay in the past... permanently.

  • @kurvos Because a man that wears tights and dresses like a giant bat to fight crime with prepubescent boys is such a serious concept. You seem to be quite mad, so I'll just not debate or argue with your randomly swearing and pretentious self.

  • @10Reapaer01 Randomly swearing? I haven't even cursed, dude. :P Oh, "shitty" is swearing for you? Kay... that wasn't random, really. And sure - the concept of Batman is silly. That's why it's admirable how they tend to be able to make us take it serious. Sure, the Nolan movies tries too hard, but still. And I am not angry; just tired of fans of this show.

  • @kurvos Keep in mind if it wans't for the Adam West series,Batman would probably never have been a pop culture icon.

  • @kurvos dont' watch the Young Justice episode with the Joker, then. You'd cry. Very, very hard.

  • @lefr33man Ikr

  • @lefr33man IKR

  • Well know we know that in some unknown fucked up alternate universe joker actually won and more then once too i guess they're pretty even but even though it's a cartoon and all it's still kinda fucked up how they could show batman dying so many times they like ridicule one of the greatest superhero's of our time but i guess it's just in a kids cartoon reality so i dont really care

  • @AllAboutTheInternet That's just it though, it's not some alternate universe. This is a clip from an episode based on the Emperor Joker Storyline, in Earth One continuity. It is in fact canon that at one point the Joker acquires the powers of a being from the 5th dimension and does unspeakable things with them. I feel that you're taking this clip out of context, as Batman does end up winning. Think about that, Batman beat a godlike being. That doesn't seem like ridicule to me.

  • @ccggenius This point is very true; while I've never really taken to the series (I do adore Dietrich Bader, so I watch the occasional episode), it is quite faithful in its incorporation of interesting and lesser-known comic story lines. One I enjoyed was the Mignola-inspired episode with Etrigan (one of my favorite secondary characters). The show basically fills a story line void in Batman's history; there's no place for extra-dimensional Joker in Btas, TNAB, BB, or JLU.

  • Thats....actually kinda fucked up

  • u got to be bullshitting me...... what the hell kind of a batman is this???

  • why does the joker sound likes dexters dad?

  • @theshingler420 actors gotta act to get paid >_> Its not like people get pension for playing one role.

  • @LordManda2 they dont damn lol jk

  • there's NO FUCKING WAY THE REAL BATMAN WOULD LOSE

  • ....I like that Bat-Mite is in a harlequin suit that looks like Harley's.

  • joker has a giant boob on his head hahaha

  • @VuDu979 it's supposed to be a whoopie cushion, doesn't look like it but still.

  • wtf!? why would batman lose D: i love joker but still

  • Ahhh what was the point of all that! ahh all it does it shoot ya, it doesn't make breakfast at all!

  • I swear this whole episode is like Tim Burton lol

  • That....was funny.....XD suck it Batman

  • My generation had Batman: The animated Series

    I think we win.

  • @Bosco239 Well yes. But if Timm did this we wouldn't be having this much fun and laughing so hard

  • @Bosco239 I know that was, is, and always will be the best Batman cartoon, (if Justice Leauge is not counted, and if it is it would be tied with it.) But this one is still very good. I LOVE the throwback to the silver age.

  • @Bosco239 Of course we win. But the Brave and the Bold was cool because it gave us a cartoon based around the late 40's/50's era Batman. Pretty cool if you ask me.

  • @GoongalaGoongala Indeed.

  • @Bosco239 that's simply not true, yes, our generation had Batman: tAS, but this generation has this, AS WELL as easy access to that. If that argument doesn't grab you, how about this: This is from Batman: tBatB, based on the comics of the same name. They were designed to showcase minor DC characters to people alongside someone marketable. That is to say, this is not a Batman cartoon, it is a cartoon with Batman in it. The emphasis is placed on how others interact with him.

  • @Bosco239 agreed, this Batman makes me cringe. Batman FAIL! Joker FAIL! Harley Fail! Just all around SHOW FAIL!

  • @redraider21s

It fails by referencing batman stories from the comic books? because its campy? Because it lets other super heroes get some spotlight? If you enjoy a character who runs around with little boys in tights and fights a clown. Why does it need to be serious all the time?

  • @Bosco239

How do you win? Brave and the bold is great in its own way. Its made by people who are the fans of batman and DC. It makes references to all other batman and DC stories (gotham by gaslight, red rain, TDK returns, emperor joker)

If you can't enjoy this you not a fan of DC.

  • @Bosco239 Your damn right we do. Nothing beats Hamill as the Joker.

  • @Ss9Brock You're wrong. Mark Hamill IS the Joker.

  • @LongClawzHidden Was, you mean, his send-off performance was Arkham City.

  • @Bosco239 But does TAS have Booster Gold and Blue Beetle?

  • @Bosco239 dont forget Batman Beyond XD

  • wtf...

  • This is crack.

  • is this tom and jerry?

  • you made a racist comment about Australians in the info section

  • So the Joker has a nipple on his head and one notice that ?

  • @KyrenS64Gotham It's supposed to be a whoppie cushion.

  • wait...could someone explain why the joker kills batman more then one time ?

  • @dergrosseomg He stole Bat-Mite's universe bending powers so he could keep bringing Batman back to life so he could kill him again.

  • @willpwn4cash so this is the really batman and he really feels the pain ?

  • does the joker wear a condom ?

  • he dead and again and again and again :D

  • And this is a children's show?

  • @DickSimmons2 no i think this episode was tvPG

  • now THIS is the joker I like, death with a punchline

  • @cooldude1886 But Joker ALWAYS has a deliciously deadly punchline! No matter what form he may take.

  • @Rita3500 well its a scale of chaos vs comedy ledger being on the chaos end and BatB joker being on the comedy end but I think a medium can be struck

  • @cooldude1886 you mean like Hamill?

  • I dont like this Joker, too different.

  • @Darklarik joker is just like that in that episode hes actually more classic ..but emperor joker is diffrent

  • Batman will never die. Hes immortal. Like this if you think so. :)

  • I miss jester harley

  • what is the song's name one 1:46

  • did you add the music or is it from the eposide?

  • You know Bats....I've been..............thinkin'
