Of course, this Porsche may sound very good compared to normal passenger cars. But it's no match for any Ferrari or Lamborghini with racing exhaust.

In my opinion Porsche 911 NEVER sounded any good. It's a great car considering performance and styling, but the flat six and redline at 7k rpm just can't give it thrilling exhaust note that you can hear from Ferrari or Lamborghini for instance, also Carrera GT.

I have to disagree with you. I have heard many air/oil cooled and water cooled flat 6 cars that sound absolutely amazing. Listen to any 997 GT3 and tell me they do not rival anything Italian. I have heard several 993 that sound deep and very aggressive as well. all the air cooled cars sounds aggressive really.

Nice car. I know that Tubi has a great reputation especially on Italian exotics. But I would have to be honest and look past the exotic labeling to say that this is a not a great sounding exhaust. It sounds rather tinny; I like throaty and powerful.  While remembering that the system is supposed to make the engine perform better, most of us are concerned with the sound and tonal quality. After all does this car really need a 15 hp improvement at the sacrafice of now sounding shitty?

I love the sound of porsche cars, love the turbo, but even for a rich guy I would say that this exhaust is a total rip off at 5k. This exhaust sounds like shit, and people only say it sounds good because theres a porsche producing it. If this was any other car people would bag it.

i agree. it sounds rather tinny and weak. i had pretty much the same sound from my 1.3L festiva and a beaten up 3" cannon welded onto the end of a leaky exhaust

Is that Tiptronic or manual? I know it doesn't make a difference in the exhaust sound, but I was just curious. I like that color by the way. Its the same color as my dad's C4S.

I work for Porsche...A base model 997 turbo is about 123,000 dollars. We have tons of options you can get with the car that can bring the price up to 150,000+ dollars. We install aftermarket parts as well. The tubi exhaust alone goes for 5000 dollars roughly plus 6 hours labor.
