Well I just finished listening to this Album for the 3rd time and at first I was quite flabbergasted with the clean vocals however after a few listens they have certainly grown on me. They fit nicely in most of the songs, there is one or two songs however I could have done without or had the vocals a little less high pitched. None the less Insomnium has produced a very nice album here that has all the familiar Insomnium sounds with some fresh new ideas. This is not my favorite album by them,

however it is GREAT none the less. I had very high expectations for this album the moment I heard it was in the works and for the most part the band has once again delivered. I've done my share of bitching about the clean vocals however I see that they aren't used to the point of over kill or to the point of bringing the band to "sellout status" and for the most part it's the great band we all love with something new to present to all of there fans. Great job guys.

As a faithful hardcore fan since 2001 I won't listen to leaked songs, I wanna wait til I got the masterpiece in my own hands and put the CD in my hifi system to discover it with full sound and lyrics in hand. Can't wait, it's gonna be legendary!

i was listening to the album once again today, and i must say, the copies leaked on to the internet are not ripped off the real CDs. the sound was rather blurry and the instruments and vocals weren't mixed well. I think they leaked the wrong un-mastered/unmixed versions to us. the sound is good, but it isn't that good. mind you, i have really good ears to back my judgment up.

I asked the Metal Archives forum and they told me the songs get leaked when Insomnium sends out copies of the songs out for promotion. So one or two people were not to faithful in their dealings.

I think they should send out pro's with edits in them like a number that is repeated in each song, so if they do get leaked you can tell who it was by listening for the serial number on each track.
