  • I couldn't help but smile at this.

  • This is so sweet. You two made ME laugh. Are you following any particular program, such as ABA? I've also been a handicaphelper, and has trained kids after Doman. This is a great game, and it is obvious that he is really enjoying it. He looks so content and happy, not frustrated, like some kids with autism can (rightfully) feel. Must be hard not to understand the world. You are doing a great job, what a sweet son. I'm gonna propose this game to the other parents:) Thanks for uploading.

  • @alsedenmark Yes we did ABA with Lewis when he was younger although this is RDI - Relationship Development Intervention.

Thanks for your encouraging comment. :)

  • This is really great. His laugh is infectious :)

  • This isn't mean -- the boy obviously is enjoying this game. It doesn't look forced, unlike some discreet trial treatments, and there is real engagement going on.

  • I love it!! thanks for share =)

  • interesting...looks like fun...how is it actually done? cant really see the adult's face..

  • @gonnafly007

This game is to encourage eye contact. The adult "points" with her eyes to the hand she is going to use to "slap" with next. The child has to look at the adults eyes and follow them to see what hand they are pointing at. He then has to move his hand in time. So the adult looks and then "slaps" the next split second.

  • Tht is horrible slapping ur son u should be taken to social services

  • @elchunko09 :)

  • @elchunko09 get a grip u tosser

  • @elchunko09 I'm sure it's just a mistake and i'm certain it's because you forgot to turn up the volume, that you can make a statement like that. If you did, you would have heard the laughter...

  • I love this video!!! you dont know what kind of a charge it is to see something i made up being used by someone to help their kid who just so happens to have such an infectous laugh!!!!

  • this is great...thanks for the idea for a variation on Phil's activity - we had trouble with that one. I think the fact that you all are in close proximity probably helps a lot with his attention too. we're going to give it a try, looks like fun :)
