How are the sizes annoying? They are not confusing at all. Stores even have a stand that lists the sizes along with the actual cup so you know what size it is. And nobody said you have to use those sizes, you can say small, medium, large. Lol...
I agree. some of the less frequent visitors don't understand the we DO know what small, medium, and large is. We are more than willing to help you out. you just have to let us :)
Well, Chicagodom, being a partner at Starbucks myself, all I can say is that you have to realise that part of the deal is the atmosphere, the culture behind Starbucks itself. The sizes are a part of that deal; and like Liz said, you don't HAVE to use them. It's only annoying to you because you CHOOSE to let it upset you. You're the first for me in a year, anyway. So, I beg of you, don't let it get to you, and we won't let you get to us, and everyone's happy.
You are, of course, my heroes. Thank you ... you make me laugh with your wise etiquette lessions.
And to my Dear Lizzie D ... Please tell the dingbats at Starbucks corporate to just name the freaking drinks what they are ... Small -- Medium -- Large. It's not so much you knowing what we want, it's the confusion your freaking kooky menu causes for those who don't frequent your establishment.
As an employee of Starbucks, I must say I've seen that scenario SEVERAL times.
I don't really think the sizes are that confusing. You don't have to SAY short, tall, grande, or venti. You can tell us small or medium, we just have a system of calling the drinks to each other that we have to follow.
Did you know originally, Starbucks only had the Short and Tall sizes?!? Demand for a bigger cup or coffee came about and we had to add the Grande and the Venti. Just an FYI.
Thank you dear customer! Hahaha You should add that it's nice not to leave a mess behind. Some people are such slobs.

Nice vid! Very informative, although it's pretty basic knowledge some people just couldn't help being a prick. 5 stars.

this could have been funny. A good idea, but they need to rehearse this much more before putting it out.
