  • Does anyone know the name of the song playing at 1:28? It's so haunting,I love it.

  • @KingdomPete It's called "The True Folsense".

  • @ZeldaMSmashHearts

i pretty much cried on all the professor layton games i played, they r just so touching, i guess u can say i just cry easily with sad moments

  • *Please answer* Galuf, did you cry with any other Professor Layton endings? I know I did with Unwound Future!

  • @ZeldaMSmashHearts I did with this one, I can't remember if I did with Unwound Future or not... Thing is, the ending of that game was spoiled for me before I got to play it. :/

I've been super careful not to look up *anything* about The Last Specter. xD With how good the last three games have been, I'm sure it won't disappoint, and I don't want to get spoiled like that again.

  • @GalufBlackMage Aww, sorry, that must have sucked. But you have to admit, playing A professor Layton game at ANY time brings emotions, am I right? (BTW thanks 4 rosponding!)

  • @ZeldaMSmashHearts No problem, and yeah, for sure. Even though I knew it was coming, I definitely remember it kinda hit me hard, whether it made me cry a bit or not.

  • I love how sweetly he embraces being a grandfather.

  • @Sweets2199 Yeeaah... No kidding... I actually want to do videos of that game as well, I've just had trouble finding the time. I also find myself wanting to re-do the first two games, since most of them (Finale aside) were recorded with a camera.

  • Oh my god during the note I started crying

  • AWWW! the letter from his sweetheart was amazingly sweet!

  • So far i've beaten this game and the third, and both endings are so sad! Bittersweetly sad! I feel so terrible for the antagonists in the end, and want to cry for them! But thats what I love about these games, they make you think, and try to solve a mystery throughout, and feel the characters pains, sufferings, and happiness as much as you were them. Such a good game series... there will never be another like it.

  • This game's ending kills me every time I watch it... GAAH!!!! :''''( But it's perfect too!

  • Haha, that chandier must have been really, really heavy to cause so much damage.

Like, a few tonnes or something.

  • its so sad.. T_T

  • What' up with the hand at 4:36?

  • I think I was holding the stylus differently than I normally would. Why? Not sure. By the way, there's going to be a better version of these finale videos in a few days...

  • That also reminds me....what did they eat there? If everything was an illusion....?

  • One could assume some things weren't an illusion, like the castle wasn't. The castle probably wouldn't look as good as it did without the illusion, but it was there, and it was standing. (Until Anton broke it that is...) Maybe they grew crops or something. Basically, whatever they did to get food 50 years ago, they probably still did that. (Everyone in town was likely not just an illusion, but rather were all oldr than they appeared, like Anton.)

  • AH. There's logic some logic in this game after all, haha. :D (Though not from the following points you mention.) >XD I suppose that's the beauty of video games. :)

  • Now, as much as one can try to come up with a defense for some of the things that went on here, when you get right down to it, if you want to try and find fault with the story, it's there. The whole scenario is highly improbable, and some things can't be defended at all. Don Paolo shrunk to fit into his Flora disguise? He grew again when he ripped it off? Then there's the first game. I don't think robots will ever have such advanced AI. Also, how did that one eat? The next game has time travel.

  • PFFF.

At first I thought cutting one chain destroyed the whole castle...:P

    BUT

Then I realized that it was his illusion disappearing...>:P

    IM SO SMARTICLES.

    DD:

  • Actually, cutting one chain did destroy it. The castle was still standing before, but the falling chandelier did major damage to the bottom of the castle. With the foundation of the castle being so weak from the huge hole dug underneath it, it just couldn't take the stress and crumbled. The debris from the castle fell into the hole, sealing off the source of the hallucinogenic gas and causing the illusion to vanish for everyone.

  • ...I think your explanation is much more likely....I dump my old theory! DD: (Though, in my defense, I was kinda right! XD)

  • Layton's so brave. He's awesome. The ending was so sad though! TWT

  • for the blowing thing, u know u could just tap onto the part where u blow

  • That's what I was trying to do at first. The noise needed to last longer than the fraction of a second a tap does, and it seemed to tell the difference between a series of short noises and one slightly longer one.

  • .......*single tear*.......

  • Same reaction here. It's a pretty moving scene.
