When i was in tianjin, the university team was made up of professional athletes (paid) from other regional and provience teams. They did wushu for the university as i suppose a past time, but for competition they represent their own professional team.

This is the Shanghai university of sports, where Wei Jian trains. This is the university team. Wei Jian is a member of the Shanghai wushu team. These other guys dont, i think.
