I don't know who they're kidding. I've had autism for as long as I can remember, and I know you do not exploit people like this. I feel simply recording their normal day to day actions on camera would have been a more effective method of helping them cope than giving them a script and direction.

I think it's so sad that the little boy wants to be "off the spectrum" instead of being respected for who he is. It's heartbreaking that he wants to be able to tell bullies to leave him alone because he's not autistic, as opposed to just standing up for himself as he is.
What I like about this documentary is that it is one of the few "posautive" media coverage on autism awareness. Everything else is celebrity gossip about Jenny McCarthy and other Hollywood trash, and nazi-style propaganda by groups like Autism Speaks who portray autistics as surplus beings who simply leech off of society by not doing anything productive and by doing everything negative.
We saw the movie yesterday night on an italian sat tv. It was so touching. We are not involved in autism but now we feel so close to all the families and the participants in the project. Good luck and big hugs!!

I totally agree w/ the comment susancosgrove made(4 comments ago). I do think that certain diet can be a good things for autistic kids though. I do think the rumors about vaccines causing autism is bogus! Also why should you cure a gift!
...being autistic (Asperger's)i think its good to promote awarness, but since these kids are still young they haven't had the ability to understand social interaction which makes autism seem worse... I truly from the bottom of my heart think its important to inform the people about autism, having it overembelished almost seems to target the kids though. Theres sites like "fight/end autism". Autism isn't bad its a gift you just need to learn how to use it.
Than again I am a teenager which probably gives me a biased opinon on watching little kids sing, but i think that its important to get teenagers involved as it seems that is when everyone says the most changes happen

This is an amazing program and ministry as well! Awesome job, keep it up- spread this project out around the country for more kids to benefit from. FANTASTIC!!!
i am the mother of an autistic child. i am sick of the media focusing on vaccines, diets and finding a cure. we need to focus on the lives of the beautiful children.

I saw the documentary this morning and its so great, wyatt and henry were adorable. This really got closer to me because I realized by their actions and my sister's and I recently found out she is also autistic, so it's just a big help to understand it more.
thank you for posting this video, im an autist, and a lot of people have misunderstood what autisme is and i hope that they didnt make autists look like idiots (einstein had asperger, a weaker version of autisme)

I relate very closely to Wyatt. That's even though Henry is the one with Asperger's.

This is an excellent, excellent work. I loved the result, and I love Wyatt! He is just so brilliant to my eyes.
Congratulations to Elaine, I think she is a wonderful person. And I respect her greatly.
I wish I could meet her and the ones involved in this project someday. =)

I agree, it was a great documentary.
I saw the documentary this morning and its so great, wyatt and henry were adorable. This really got closer to me because I realized by their actions and my sister's and I recently found out she is also autistic, so it's just a big help to understand it more.
