  • do you ever swim with your fish?

  • that's a HUGE pond !!!

damn - its like a swimming pool

  • what would happen if you tried to swim with them? :O?

  • how deep is your pond?....and you should set up the underwater camera and do a live minnow/goldfish feeding video.....would be insane!

  • nice pond but about what you said that each little square is 4.5" mm im doubting that because i counted 10 of them and your paroon was bigger also your fit seems like 4 or 5 of the little square ? i have never seen anyone with big fit like those O.o!

  • @kikefaris each square is 4 inches by 4 inches...

  • 0:50 is that a pacu???

  • you should also get an irridescent shark. they can reach up to 4 feet and are similar to paroon sharks. very dosile.

  • how about a coupla crocs? ;-) lovely fish and an awesome pond bud

  • Wow very nice pond some of the fish in there are so big i wouldnt mind catching them !

  • hmmm yep i think i would have to go swimming with the fish if i had that lol might aswell because that looks like alot of time and money. :)

  • how do you get a shark and how big do they get

  • @DeadSkulls15 u can buy paroon sharks in most LFS in ASIA....they take a long time to grow and are very skittish but ive seen them reach over 5 foot in captivity given you provide enough space and food.

  • Have you been to the Aquarium at the Petronas Towers? I visit yearly, and its been that way since 2007, when I heard about it.

But, All in all... Nice fish!

haha.only if i had a pond looking like yours.

  • haha the minnows must be having a heart attack 24/7

  • Do you use a UV light an lots of filter media?

  • @quadhondarider yes lots cuz malaysia is really hot and humid! if u dont have plenty of UV and good flow of water then the algae will go mad!

  • if u make it a saltwater then u can put in baby zebra sharks and sting ray

  • @runescapeikill haha if only. do u know how hard it wud be to make this saltwater??? with the evaporation and malaysian heat...it wud be mad controlling the temp and salt content!

  • i like it

  • @tnnesen89 i used to have channa micropeltes but they got eaten. now i keep a pair of channa pleuros! i also have 2 oscars in the pond. this video is quite old!

  • get an oscar people say! get four big hujeta pikes, channa micropeltes wich is wierd that you dont even have a channa x) some unusual fish if you know what i mean, thats cool

  • no it is not heated. i live in malaysia where there is a warm tropical climate. similar to the amazon so i dont need to check temp! sorry

  • Is this pond heated, and what is the average temp you keep it at?

  • the pond is made of a concrete structure with tiles on top measuring 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches

  • Ever consider having peacock bass?

  • Can you please give a list of the fish you keep? Either replay to this post or just send me a private message. Thanks :)

  • yes they r food for the royal clownknives and the tiger shovelnose catfish!

  • are the lil fish in there food for them

  • Its nice to see those fish with a proper home. Well done!

  • yeh ive considered buying sum peacock bass from the fish shop but they dont have very many/nice ones in malaysia. they all look sickly and skinny so i choose not to have them. plus its hard to find large P.Bass that are ready to go into my pond!

  • u can find some of those fish in bolivia people their fish them a lot the shovelnose is the most popular one. the red tail fights the most out of all the catfish u just need some pecook bass

  • OH YEA... The arowana is so Nice and Sleek!

  • advantage of kiddie pool

  • This Pond is the BOSS! I want one like it.

  • Get an arapima thad be boss

  • loook like an old swimming pool lol

  • hey titto! yeh i can imagine how complicated it wud be to have an outdoor pond in such cold chicago weather!!! i personally hate trusting in heaters since they always seem to screw up. Plus it wud cost an arm and a leg to keep the heater on all winter! especially on such a deep and large pond!

  • Hey pablo! yes i am running 4 pumps that pump water into a 16 foot by 3 foot concrete filter box partitioned into multiple sections.

  • nice pond, nice fishes man. I don't mind to get or should i say do a pond like that, but i live in Chicago (damn winter months).

  • i love yor tank man are you running a pond pump and filter by the way hi pablo im pablo ;)

  • and pablo...no heater required cuz i come from malaysia so its tropical climate all year round. similar to rainforest.

  • those are feeder fish called tilapia....now i use lampam fish tho.

  • man i love your pond.i hope to do the same one day :D

  • Very nice, what kind of filtration and heating (if you need) do you use?

  • wow that's awesome!

  • lol i love plecos its my fav fish

but how big do they get?

  • if u wanna go canoeing go there and take out the deadly fish

  • how much did the whole thing cost anyway was it supposed to be a pool??

  • lolz yeh i cant make more vids atm cuz im in perth. but ill def make another vid wen i put my jar into the pond in september! stay tuned ;)

  • hey bro can you make more vids plz! your paroon is a beast! xD

  • Hi i just got the gar from a normal fish shop in malaysia...they r quite common here and not too expensive at all. I feed them whole dead fish from the market (abnout 6-7 inches long) and they also catch the live feeder fish SOMETIMES.

  • how u get the aligator gar does that eat those big fish in the pond???

  • hey dude. ure 6' temp pond shud be fine in the short run. just make sure u include many hiding areas (ie. with drift wood) and PLENTY of food so ure cats dont get tempted into eating one of their buddies.

The 30' pool that u have outside shud be absolutely fine for life.

    BEST OF LUCK!

  • I have decided on my current tank and final fish. TEMPORARILY(Sorry about capital letters, had to emphasize it) i am going to be using a 6' X 4' X 2' plastic pool with these fish. 1 4inch red-tail,3 inch paroon shark, 1 3 inch pacu, 1 5 inch fire eel and 1 4 inch TSN/RTC. Do u think i could keep a 6 inch tiger shovelnose with them?? Its only temporary. I have a 30' X 12' X 3' cement pool in my backyard?? Enough for life?? Sorry about so many questions. Oh yeah a 4 inch Florida gar?

  • sumhow juvenile cats tend to fight with one another...unless u have a HUGE "uncrowded" tank with tonnes of space! i failed to keep 2 small RTCs in a 4 feet tank cuz one kept beating the other up.

Smaller cats tend to either fight or try to eat each other. they mellow out considerably wen larger. (24" ++)

of course this all depends on the characteristics of each fish. If u do decide to try it out, make sure they have plenty of food to eat!!!

  • Do you think a 4'' RTC can be kept with a 6'' tsn, a 4'' RTC/TSN hybrid and a 4'' Paroon shark??

  • i also have three 10" oscars who are doing very well in my pond. no one has tried to eat them yet because i think they r just slightly too fat to be swallowed! i guess i am luycky that my larges RTCs who can eat them r too fat and lazy! x_X

  • well i have a 14 inch RTC/MARBLE catfish hybrid that doesnt really grow anymore and NO ONE has ever tried to eat him eventho i put him in wen he was 8 inches long. he also eats floating pellets..

i guess the risk depends on 2 factors: the character of ure large predators (cuz m RTCs r not cold blooded killers) and the soze of ure pond because space is EVERYTHING. if my fish were in a small space they wud FIGHT!

  • I have kept every fish you have mentioned in this tank but do you think a clarias cat could move in with them. There about 14 inches long. I have kept them with pacus, red-tails, shovelnose, RTC/TSN hybrids but that was when they were about 6 inchers and at eight inches hey tore up my foot long oscars. They currently eat floating pellets and live 4 inch tilapias i breed myself. So do you think they could match?? It is a big risk.

  • nah man so far so good!!!! plus ive fattened them up considerably. ive actually noticed that since my largest silver became one of the fattest fish in the pond, he hasnt even attemtped to jump nemore.

    maybe cuz HE CANT x_X

  • no problem with the silver jumping?

  • haha thanks i apreciate the comments! i have 2 more silvers in there atm. they look pretty cool...like a pack of WOLVES!

  • hey im from malaysia but study in perth australia. filter is partitioned into different sections. theres a lot of filter media inside like hard cotton and bioballs etc etc. around 4 or 5 high powered pond pumps!

  • were are you from? very cool!

    whats the filtration?

  • Its ok i love your pool go swimmin!

  • Making some recipe how to cook some fish lol

  • lolz wat did u get banned for?

  • Looking good can see the fish really well ps i got banned from MFK lol

  • I request the "feeding video" for the Alligator Gars
