  • @AaronsRandomFilmz I got a deal... ;) Thanks for watching!

  • Ive got a '81 and it's not running well, not sure if there isn't a spark or something? Help?!

  • @SUPERRIFFMASTER Pull the plug... connect the coil wire and lay it on the cylinder head so it's grounded.... then kisk the bike over and see if there is a spark in between the gap. Thanks for watching!

  • @jfrost77hd Good thing I can fix it, would've been a waste of $200 bucks, I got a sweet deal.!

  • @SUPERRIFFMASTER Sounds good man... hope you get it!

  • hey great old bike and they run forever!

  • @yamrz500 Yeah they do... gotta love these old classics! Thanks for watching man!

  • at 1st i thought that was my old bike right down to the dents in the tank. I had one for years before I liquidated before i moved. I put knobby tires on it also. never trusted the oil injector and always used mixed fuel. was a fun and dependable bike. Sold it for $250 i think to a guy taking it to upstate NY from LI. Enjoy it. ( I still have the tool kit and new clutch kit)

  • @tomc585 Yeah that would be crazy if it was your old one.... it's a good running tough old bike! I've also got a 76 Ke175 that I've had forever you just cant kill them! ;) I'm in Ohio and bought it from a old guy about 6 months ago for half that! ;) What a deal... just cleaned the carb and a new set of points! Great running bike! Hey thanks for watching man... if this isnt it I'm sure it's still cruising somewhere! ;) Take it easy man!

  • hey man wondering if u could tell we if a front wheel from a 97 xr 100r would fit on my 86 theres one for sale online looks the same and the right size just wonderin if the part of the hub that slides in with the brakes will fit in there right ?

  • @TheATCchamp Yeah I think it would probably be fine... might not hurt to double check though. I go to bikebandit sometimes to cross reference part #'s etc. Might try that.

  • @jfrost77hd thanks man i appreciate it i have another question for ya ..are the frames the same from like 85 and up if u know thanks dude..

  • @destro513 Really... where are you located at? I just saw one of those too I thought about picking up! It was pretty cool looking!

  • cool stuff,i think on the old points bikes you need the battery for the spark, not sure but maybe, the yam rd 400 i sold wouldnt start without the batt ,keep up th good work ,im doing the same sort off thing ,but the old stuff hard to come by,love the tire burn on the other vid off the car !!

  • @175yam1 i have a 73' ts 125, and it runs with the battery taken out.

  • @175yam1 Hey thanks buddy... yeah wouldnt hurt to throw a battery in just to make sure. Got a coil on the way... hope that fixes it! Looking forward to hearing this old girl pur again! Hey thanks about the Firebird video too!

  • Thats a cool bike. Should be fun to kick around with.

  • SWEET good find, i have a 1980 KE 100 it is also in good shape and i love it but it HATES water, if you go through a small puddle it will bog and then die, then it has to sit for at least 5 min before it starts and some times it wont start back up at all, or it runs like crap for a while, i have it pretty well sealed up but it still sucks water, other then that it rips. Hope you get it up and running soon.

  • @1985hond125 Yeah they're some good bikes... I know that old 1976 Ke175 I've got I;ve burried it before. I did silicone everything up real good when I had the carb out of the side cover last time. I've got a coil on the way so should have it up and going here soon! Thanks for watching man!

  • hehe again another dirt-bike :) Any news on the Sea-foam?

  • @djbazzmaster Yeah another...and another! They keep multipling! Sorry kinda forgot about the Sea-Foam... I did just see it on sale for $6.99. I was kinda wondering about sending flammable material, if that would be an issue. And is it legal there? It might cost an arm and a leg to ship. If you want pm me again and we can discuss more!

  • Love these models take's me back to the 70's . It's in good nick for age and some nice original features like tool pack and that nice silencer

  • @terence20001 Yeah I love the old ones... I was really surprised how good of shape! I did find the original tool pouch and tools behind the oil injection resevoir too! Got a coil on the way,,, should have it up and going here soon! Thanks for watching!

  • I luv oldie but goodies

  • @shadyws310 Yeah me too... these are some tough old bikes!

  • okay what did you pay for it i have a guy down the road thats selling a honda xl350 for 550 cash but said he would do 300 has everything he said it was running last year but let it sit for a year and it wouldnt start dont know if i want to buy it or not really thinking about it

    any ideas?

  • @bigbobo3 Yeah probably not that bad of a deal... just check all the basics! Probably clean the carburetor and should fire if all is true! Just checked your channel... I didnt see it, you pass on it?

  • So im playin with fixin up some older motorcycles right now including a Chinese Bike which im startin to think is more of a pain than its worth... You have great tips on what to look for when buying a older bike and maybe a whole vid on just what to look for would be cool. Things like rust in the tank, how to check compression (do you use a tool or just by feel) etc. Love your stuff! Watchin all the time.

  • @yeehau Hey that's not a bad idea... I could probably make a vidoe like that! I usually just check compression by feel initially when looking at something... I do have a tester i use every once in awhile. A good quick way to check is pull the spark plug and put your finger over the hole and kick it over.... it should make a decent puff and blow your finger off. Thanks for watching man... Lots more to come!

  • I had that exact bike, but the engine froze up so couldn't do anything with it. Good luck with yours!

  • @shotgunshell159 Huh... was the oil injection bypassed on your old one?

  • @jfrost77hd yeah it was rigged up some odd way that i couldnt figure out. the previous owner did that...

  • @shotgunshell159 Yeah alot of people will bypass the oil injection to add premix... but the oil injection (if working properly) will get it mixed to the right ratio it should run at. Run them alittle too lean and you'll have that.

  • Sweet man, I got a 77 KM100 for free that worked! But blew a ring and I've been waiting for 3 months to get it!

  • @Drfat4 3 months for some rings... good lord! It will be winter at that rate.... ahh you'll get it back and going!

    Thanks for watching man!

  • thats a cool bike

  • @TheATCchamp Thanks man... yeah I love the old vintage ones with metal tanks and just built tough!

  • hell ya

  • @3WHEELERMAN8483S Should have it up and running here soon, thanks for watching!

  • Lucky You! Ive been looking for one of these for quite some time! They are bullet proof bikes! Youll like it!

  • @pimpinpenz Yeah they are! I've got that old 175 that's been used and abused for years and still runs great! When I saw the little brother for cheap I had to snag it up! Thanks for watching!

  • very, very nice! Ill put up a vid of my nx125 soon i picked up for 250$, had to change the clutch, and new rings but she's running good now!

  • @poipoipoipoipois Hey thanks buddy... yeah it should turn out pretty nice! Looking forward to seeing the 125!

    Thanks for watching man!
