I'm from Poland I'm 31 years old and i was in Museum Auschwitz only one time in my life. Its really hard to be there without tears in your eyes. There are no Germans , no prisoners but you can still feel the cruelty, suffering and pain of those people. Hard to explain you have to experience it by yourself. Come to Poland, visit the place and you will become a better man.

If you go on an escorted tour you will be rushed around the Auschwitz I camp and down the centre of Birkenau (to the memorial) If you can, in Birkenau, wander around the brick huts (not the wooden huts) to the south. Go inside and wander around the aisles. As a general point, note the detail as much as the grand view. Look at the soap dish in the washrooms. Thousands used that. Look at the sleeping area.

Step over the knee high barbed wire surrounding the inside of the Auschwitz I camp: no prisoner stood here because crossing it would get them shot. In Auschwitz I, everyone focusses on the gate. Imagine hundreds of prisoners marching through them every day, morning and night. A band plays to one side. The bodies of tortured prisoners hangs close by..

@TomDavid88 You are a bit wrong on that one. The gas chamber was converted into an air raid shelter in 44. Extra walls were added, another exit was added and the holes in the roof filled in. After the war the walls were removed, the holes reopened and the chimney rebuild. The walls, the floor, the ceiling and the crematoria are exactly how they were. They were not "reconstructed" they were "restored". The building has been returned to its original state and is not a reconstruction.

@TomDavid88 When Birkenau was ready all gassing moved over there. The crematoria 1 at Aushwitz 1 was no longer needed thus it was converted into an air raid shelter for the ss. I do not in anyway deny the number of people killed in the gas chambers but i do correct people to the true facts of when the crematoria worked. Auschwitz 1 was not responsible for the killing of the jews but mainly the killing of russian pow's and polish political prisoners.

In fact the building was built as an air raid shelter and was only converted to make the Jews money in 1946 using German slave labor.

Crematori 1 at Auschwitz base camp is a different story as it was not designed specifically for gassing hence why they waited half an hour for ventilation rather than the 15-20 mins allowed at Birkenau.

No one doubts that in a camps numbering tens of thousands of people, that natural deaths will occur and that crematoria are necessary. @KLresearcher There were not in fact ENOUGH crematoria in Auschwitz to handle all the bodies of the people who died during the typhus outbreaks. There is a short film, in fact, of bodies being burned on the ground by Germans during one of these outbreaks. The pictures of this are available on the internet. I forget where right now.

@TomDavid88 The picture you refer to is that taken by the Birkenau resistence during 44 when the Hugarian jews were being exterminated. 1944 accounted for 500.000 exterminations, about half of the life of Aushwitz-Birkenau. The crematoria were not able to handle this influx so the return to pryrs was needed.

But if there WERE 500,000 exterminations, why didn't the Bletchley Park intepts reveal this? They had a record of every person who was even transported to the camp, and even a DAILY death count!

When my friend went there, she had to be escorted out from hysteria of the scratch marks on the gas chamber walls and the piles of ppl's things still there. Firstly Jews were shot en masse by SS Einsatzgruppen and Foreign Auxilaries between 1940 and 1941, then they used Gas vans to kill Jews by Carbon Monoxide poisoning and then Extermination camps Treblinka, Sobibor, Majdanek, Chelmno and Belzec between 1942 and 1944 using Carbon Monoxide poisoning and Auschwitz between 1942 and 1944 using Prussic Acid/ Hydrogen Cyanide poisoning. It was feasible to have killed the estimated 6 million Jews and others.

@VideoHistoryToday I read a story on the net about a photographer at Auschwitz who took many mug shots, and actually buried some so that something would survive. I'm not sure but I'm almost sure it was by Brasse. He talked of taking pics of these people that he knew would be dead in a few hours or days.

I'm from Poland I'm 31 years old and i was in Museum Auschwitz only one time in my life. Its really hard to be there without tears in your eyes. There are no Germans , no prisoners but you can still feel the cruelty, suffering and pain of those people. Hard to explain you have to experience it by yourself. Come to Poland, visit the place and you will become a better man.

If you go on an escorted tour you will be rushed around the Auschwitz I camp and down the centre of Birkenau (to the memorial) If you can, in Birkenau, wander around the brick huts (not the wooden huts) to the south. Go inside and wander around the aisles. As a general point, note the detail as much as the grand view. Look at the soap dish in the washrooms. Thousands used that. Look at the sleeping area.

Step over the knee high barbed wire surrounding the inside of the Auschwitz I camp: no prisoner stood here because crossing it would get them shot. In Auschwitz I, everyone focusses on the gate. Imagine hundreds of prisoners marching through them every day, morning and night. A band plays to one side. The bodies of tortured prisoners hangs close by..

@Llamasloveme Did you see that fake "reconstruction" of the "gas chamber"? Even the plack at Auschwitz says that it's a "reconstruction." They made the Germans rebuild it to look more like a "gas chamber" in 1946, adding holes in the ceiling "for the gas" which were not there before the war.

@TomDavid88 You are a bit wrong on that one. The gas chamber was converted into an air raid shelter in 44. Extra walls were added, another exit was added and the holes in the roof filled in. After the war the walls were removed, the holes reopened and the chimney rebuild. The walls, the floor, the ceiling and the crematoria are exactly how they were. They were not "reconstructed" they were "restored". The building has been returned to its original state and is not a reconstruction.

It was ALWAYS an air raid shelter and in 1946 was RECONSTRUCTED to LOOK like it could be a "gas chamber" now for the tourists. And in 1944 the Jews claim that more Jews than ever before were being "gassed." Never mind that the Zyklon B gas would have killed those administering it as it is currently designed.

I do not in anyway deny the number of people killed in the gas chambers but i do correct people to the true facts of when the crematoria worked. Auschwitz 1 was not responsible for the killing of the jews but mainly the killing of russian pow's and polish political prisoners.

This alone makes the whole gassing stories ridiculous. And the door on the buliding we are discussing was, and is, ALWAYS the typical door you find on air raid shelters in the Third Reich. In fact the building was built as an air raid shelter and was only converted to make the Jews money in 1946 using German slave labor.

Crematori 1 at Auschwitz base camp is a different story as it was not designed specifically for gassing hence why they waited half an hour for ventilation rather than the 15-20 mins allowed at Birkenau.

There is a short film, in fact, of bodies being burned on the ground by Germans during one of these outbreaks. The pictures of this are available on the internet. I forget where right now.

@TomDavid88 The picture you refer to is that taken by the Birkenau resistence during 44 when the Hugarian jews were being exterminated. 1944 accounted for 500.000 exterminations, about half of the life of Aushwitz-Birkenau. The crematoria were not able to handle this influx so the return to pryrs was needed.

3:26 when I was in visit to Auschwitz I remember that corridor with hundreds of pictures on both sides of wall. Nazis use to take photos of people before they shot them... it's so sad.. You need to read some history mate. Firstly Jews were shot en masse by SS Einsatzgruppen and Foreign Auxilaries between 1940 and 1941, then they used Gas vans to kill Jews by Carbon Monoxide poisoning and then Extermination camps Treblinka, Sobibor, Majdanek, Chelmno and Belzec between 1942 and 1944 using Carbon Monoxide poisoning and Auschwitz between 1942 and 1944 using Prussic Acid/ Hydrogen Cyanide poisoning. It was feasible to have killed the estimated 6 million Jews and others.

i grew up in this, watched as regular ppl just died in front of me. Hundreds of camps, many ppl in them were dying every day. We were just taken from our homes and put in these awful camps. I dont know how anyone needs files to remember such an awful thing, we just want to be left alone. u think we wanted this taxopare? we didnt want to live like this, hitler was a sick man and he shouldnt be praised by anyone.

Sadly the holocaust really did happen, there was massive publicity in the press during 1942 of what the Nazis had hoped to hide. Why did the SS blow up the crematoria and gas chambers at Auschwitz shortly before the Russians arrived?

As for 6 million, many organisations have studied 1st hand testimony, census & birth data & all come up with a figure between 5 & 6 mil. Whatever other 6 million figures exist are pure coincidence. Since 1989 these documents have slowly been released and examined. By the look of it Wolfe was being factual, there was no documented evidence (ie Nazi paperwork) in 1977. US authorities (CIA) appear to have kept stuff secret as well (which doesn't exactly help). Is Wolfe a Holocaust denier/revisionist? I think he is just an historian

I don't know how old you are but you have to read more material, more testimony, expand your knowledge away from 'the holocaust is a hoax' argument. Broaden your viewpoint. He makes many observations to prove it is fake, which on their own sound plausible, but as usual misses out information in the diary that contradicts his 'fake' itinerary. In other words, I have read just one of his anti-holocaust writings and it is factually wrong (search 'Rebuttal Faurisson Anne Frank Diary' on Google). Another one please..

@VideoHistoryToday I read a story on the net about a photographer at Auschwitz who took many mug shots, and actually buried some so that something would survive. I'm not sure but I'm almost sure it was by Brasse. He talked of taking pics of these people that he knew would be dead in a few hours or days.
A good movie on YT is Pasazerka, it is in Polish language, but some filmed at Auschwitz and what is happening is obvious in any language.

They should stand as witneess that this did in fact happen.
