Thanks to you, I've added beautiful blues riff to our alternative band. (Don't ask) But instead of mindless repeating pentatonic solos, (I enjoy those though xD) I've got full blues filled thoughtful riffs. Thanks again!
Hey Dave, I know you have worked with Ibanez a bunch and I want to ask you.....What do you think about the S series of guitars?(I'm thinking about getting one)
Dave, one question...why use those notes that travels a few frets up and down rather than the typical boxed patterns? thx much Dave for ur weekly 'biblical guitar' sharing with us :)
I think it'd be cool to get some ROTWs of less common (not saying this is common, don't get me wrong!) things like licks with the Japanese pentatonic scale--or more middle eastern sounding riffs to throw into our playing.
great lesson Dave, i love this whole riff of the week concept, it is very very useful and always gives me inspiration and a different view from a different angle and gets me "out of the box" of the everyday practicing

I really like the S series. Very comfortable guitars. A good alternative if you don't want the "rock" looking RG series.
