I think its a great attempt i just think you gotta have a little more feeling and rhythm...the pro players play with confidence you wont see them strategically planning the licks it becomes natural like speaking. with a song like this you gotta use the chord tones, which in this case means the blues scales mixed with a little A dorian

Guys it doesnt matter if its a gibson or epiphone. Some of epiphones guitars are amazing if you actually know how to play a guitar. I played a concert last week with my band with my epiphone goldtop and a gibson les paul standard and my Goldtop sound just as good. actually even better because of the p90s and the work i've done to it.
