Especially from someone who sing a song at the first time. ;D If you practice it, by the time you will become a great singer. Your voice is really characteristic, so you can build things on it. And the little dissonant notes will avoidable easily.
Hey, that's a pretty nice version! I don't think your singing was bad in this...it may not be like the original but I think the mood in your tone goes really well with the lyrics. You did some really nice work on the instrumentation too! Too many people believe that "cover songs" should sound exactly like the originals...hey we do what we do to get the song out to people the best way we can, but we also like to inject our own interpretations, and the term "Cover" means just that. Nice Job!
PS. I have sent you a video response with the "Electric Version" of this song which I did with my cousin Tim on drums. It conforms to the original a lot more than my "unplugged" version...hope you enjoy it.

I agree. I think your version, even though it's closer to John's than Alex's, is the most original, since it's unplugged and all.
