Wire goes down through the inside of the mirror post, roughly parallel to MINI's existing motor and defrost wires. I found there wasn't enough room to run them in the same opening, so I used another one. Bit of a pain, really! Once down into the door you're home free. Run the wire behind the window glass and out of the door, past the rubber wire grommet. From there, just fish the wire from the door side toward the scuttle. There's an opening in the bodywork that facilitates this.
