Powerpoint usually will only play wav or midi files. I use realplayer to convert files if they are not in the correct format. Also dont forget to check your sound settings, your computer may play a "joke" on you and change settings from time to time.

I have Powerpoint 2010 and most of the sound files aren't playing. Is there a place where I can convert them to .WAV or something?
