the word 'organic' means almost nothing anymore...why shouldn't people SEE how food are raised. this dude does not have all the information. I have chickens and my neighbors wouldn't even know I had them if I didn't tell them. What a smart lady!

Chickens for pets basically means organic, low-cost TONS of eggs on a daily basis, and they're as convenient as walking into your yard for em. And people are complaining about the NOISE? I think the pro outweighs the con here. I used to have chickens before they were killed by a neighborhood dog, and damn was it cool. People taking responsibility to raise their own hens and eggs is great. Why the hell would you ban it....

No one who raises chickens lives near you. Shut the fuck up. You care more about your "peace and quiet" (that NO ONE is threatening) than the fact that millions of animals are being horribly mistreated on a daily basis. A crowd of chickens would easily make better neighbors than you would, you beady-eyed piece of meat. Someone should make a profit off of your carcass (but you're obviously not organic). You're ready to call anyone with compassion a "greeny" or a "nut" because you have no soul.

Amen, brother! What MeMe says about how the chickens are treated is RIGHT ON, and he's completely dismissive. He acts like it's no big deal that sentient beings are being abused just so he can stuff his greedy face. MeMe is right; people need to take more responsibility.

I cannot believe he actually flat out called people who raise chickens "nuts" at the beginning; doesn't this network claim to be unbiased?

It's their land if they want to have chickens, they should be allowed to have chickens.

And to the people worried about eating on the holidays. You should be worrying about the way you eat during the time that isn't in-between Thanksgiving and Christmas because that's much more important.

i agree elk4758. Dogs bark, but i'd prefer my neighbors having a dog that barks so now and then, than a neighbor having a silent scary snake as pet.
