the only thing i could connect to was the staring off into space and seein images pop up in my mind with my eyes open though...If you ask me this is kinda of just ALL the different types of symptoms of ADD put into one video..not really how its like lol, that would be like..crack or acid + heroin HAHA
I have ADD and Schizophrenia, this is exactly what my thought process looks like, except a little faster and the music playing is Fear of the Dark by Iron Maiden.

does anyone here with adhd or add find themselves constantly moving without realizing it? like tapping your fingers on a desk making a really cool beat or something? or shaking ur legs while ur sitting down all the time?
Interesting. I have ADD, and I wouldn't say this video depicts a "typical" minute in my day. However, when I am in a crowded place with lots of things happening at once (such as a party, a mall, a train station at rush hour) I experience what is known as "sensory overload." This is because my ADD brain is unable to filter out the unecessary stimuli, and so I become overstimulated. This video is a pretty accurate representation of what sensory overload feels like.
thats why adhs kids like video games so much ,the scenes are like the minds eye, my little boy will sit in front of a black ops game for 12 or 15 hours a day every day and feel normal,he does'nt play any more now we overamp him with focolum and put him to sleep with blood pressure medication...all for the sake of whom? the school or my son,God have mercy on me for doing what we are doing to him but he cant attend school without it and he is 7 and a half
I think this is offensive.I have adhd and this hurts. It is not like that. You just cannot sit still because you get ditracted. You are an example of people thinking of people like me as a distracted lower intelligent person. You make me sick.
this looked more like a drug experience to me...I have add and i find it very difficult to explain to someone, so i don't judge you and not consider your video as "badly made" or something
I was diagnosed with ADD and For some reason it was easier for me to concentrate with everything flashing and different things flashing on the screen maybe because it is the norm for me nice Vid im going to watch it again!
Just looks like life to me, and for the record ADD is only a DNA upgrade meant to make you achieve an accelerative state, OR AT LEAST WANT TO. People with ADD are meant to investigate life to the fullest because we have the capacity to juggle much at once. I also think of it as a self defense mechanism against ALL BRAINWASHING (school, church, etc). ADHD, ADD saved my life from boredom. If you have ADD or something similar you owe it to creation to investigate your power and use it for good!
Acording to this video if you have add you see random pictures of women in strange colors flash before your eyes, and hear funky music constintly while teleporting around the world.
I dont know about anyone else but i have is and the symptomes are.... Oooooh look at that squirrel!
I hate it, I start one thing which leads me to another to another to another, and i'm constantly frustrated that I can't do things as fast as I think of them. i'll start 5 projects at a time, and wont finish any of them... I'm 19 and still need a To Do list to get through busy days. xD
actually..yeah...kinda. mine is a thought-leads me to another though-to another-another-another-another-another etc. one of the characertistics of it...people say im really good with meeting new people...
This video makes me smile so hard :) I have ADD and this is absolutely true!
Its was not ment to be an accurate simulation or something, it just shows that it is not possible to concentrate on doing normal things because one million things pop up in your head
@ChiLLofMe Yes! Thank you for your observation and comment. FookMovie makes all of their music videos to make it easier for people to learn about the music tracks, but this video had another purpose. So sorry some people are offended and so glad you pointed out what we're really trying to accomplish here. Thanks!
@shechshire Yeah, it was meant more as a representation of the mind's connections, all the synapses firing at once. Not so much "here's what you experience." Interesting what a wide variety of responses, from "this is helpful" to "you should be ashamed for making this." We have 72 videos, most of them here to feature music from our publishing company, but this is the video that gets all the responses.
I second all of the comments about this being anachronistic and lacking of all awareness and sympathy. This has NOTHING to do with ADD and it is offensive. Obnoxious nonsense like this (and unbelievably uninformed and pretentious people like you) is what makes it harder to live in the world with ADD.
funny, I have ADD and I can stare at one particular thing for hours on end. This video is inaccurate. Really, only people with ADD actually understand ADD itself. You clearly don't. Good day to you, sir!
Wow. You represent "an ADD Brain" by not staying on a single stream of focus uninterrupted for over 2 seconds.... You are aware that only happen with things that are perceived to be extremely boring (regardless of its importance.)
You don't seem to understand ADD. Not to be a cynic, but this is borderline offensive. You don't have it do you?
I wouldn't be offended though if more people had half a clue about the "disability" that is guaranteed to effect at least a few people they know. Sigh....
@MrKillianmcelroy I wouldn't call it a disability so much as a condition of the brain. One that takes time to reverse (if you're so inclined) by rerouting neural pathways. I'm supposedly ADD but I've long since discarded the notion. I believe I've had trouble concentrating due to environmental factors, not some disease. Anyways, that's just my two cents.
@TurtlePoof I know how you feel, i have it too. it feels impossible to focus everyone including my parents just say "try harder"."pay attention" but for me, its impossible.
@plainpurple 'try harder' and 'just pay more attention' are likely very common things for ADDers. I know I've heard them all my life. I wish there was some easy way to explain that I am trying hard to pay attention. It's not a personal choice. People see this as a moral failing because "you could have chosen differently". The rest of us who suffer along with you understand, hopefully that is some consollation for you.
@nighthawk2k9 - I have not really promoted it in terms of ADD/ADHD, only in terms of the music. Do you think it has any value within the ADD community?
@FookMovie On some level sure, although I can't say how much. It's just an interesting and unique way to explain the condition to people who don't understand it. And there are alot of people that don't understand it. I believe that it could help spouses of ADDers, for example, that are struggling to cope with a condition that's very difficult to explain.
@nighthawk2k9 - Wow, seem to be a lot of haters out there. I am not trying to rile up anyone. Do you still think the video is helpful to leave up on YouTube? It certainly gets more attention with the angry comments but I don't know if that's a good thing.
@FookMovie Always gonna be haters man, and not everyone is going to agree with your interpretation. If people want to hate, there's nothing you can do about that. Just keep in mind that some people think you're right on while others think you're full of shit. The bottom line in reguardless of the severity of your ADD, there is some degree of truth here, even if people tell you otherwise.
I wish I could actually watch this video---all I am getting is a black screen where the video should be. Is anyone else having this problem? This is happening with every video I click on....anyone?
@Bookitty73 --- I am sorry you are having problems viewing any of our videos. But I am watching it right now so there is no problem with the system at this end. Good luck after you re-boot!

@stinkykuntz Have you already tried 2 hours of exercise per day? Some people combine this with transendental meditation.
Not to be mean, but no 7 year old should ever sit in front of a black ops game for even 1 hour. 2 hours is too much.
