From beginning to 3:00 - Briefing.bik from Battlefield 1942. If you have BF1942 you can find it in music folder. From 3:00 onwards is "Top of the World" from the movie Last of the Mohicans. I think I'll add links in annotations ;)

They have crosshairs. Real WW2 tank crosshairs. You have to press one of the camera keys. I can't remember which. And those real WW2 crosshairs are easy after you learn them.

Yeh im not real big on mods man. I like online play and using mods kinda narrows the field.

Using mods kinda narrows the field?? What do you mean? Quite on the contrary, it expands the field. Project Reality is a much better version of BF2. BF2 is arcadey and PR is near real war simulation. I've stopped playing BF2 half a year ago, to play the PR mod instead. You really need to know more about mods ;). Also FH is not your usual mod like CS for Half-Life! FH1 for BF1942 was twice the size of BF42! Added more WW2 armies, battles, weapons, vehicles.

And if you mean there are less players think again! These players are enough to fill several 64 player servers and none of them are your usual bunny-hoping smacktards you see in regular BF2 and BF42.

Several 64 player "mod" servers hardly adds up to the 100 000ish people logged on to BF2 at anyone time. My ISP provides us aussies with 14 dedicated BF2 servers alone ... not to mention the rest of them ... why would I want to use a mod that only the minority are using .. man the patches and expansion packs have done enough to segregate the community as it is let alone throwing mods in there as well.

If youre ok with playing arcade modern combat with bunnyhoppers you can keep to BF2. But if you want to play WWII with a good community or realistic modern combat with mature players you should at least try FH2 (when it's released) and PR respectively. There are aussies playing both FH1 (and will play FH2) and PR. My ISP also provides me 4 dedicated BF2 servers, but to me isn't the servers or players that matter. It's the game.Also in FH1 they even added the Australian army in the Tobruk map ;).

its not voice overs, its Teamspeak lol. we communicate through teamspeak with two sections, Allied and Axis each oen is passworded so members of opposing force cannot get onto it.

That's probably a sound effect added in the video editing and not in-game. I do wonder where they got the "Grenade!" shout. It seems to be in-game as it sounds just like the American soldier BF42 voice. Perhaps it's another one of those sounds that are in the game but not used, like the war cries that FH uses.
