  • what r those buttons

for? u know the 1s ur

    pushing

  • 1:21 accelleration of my fiat panda 900!

  • Super Mario Bros. Just got wiplashed...

  • looks like there needs to be a head brace behind the passenger to before he gets a lawsuit from a broken neck

  • Lmaooo look at his face on take off

  • Shits his pants at 1:20

  • they look alike , maybe brothers??

  • lmao at 0:54

  • by the look on his face i think he might have shit himself before he even got to the 60 foot.

  • changing gears without the clutch is "easy" on any cars, when u know well the rpm but you need to have a good hear too (its very different on each cars).

  • @goervideos He may have a Shift Light. On Honda Civics especially if your turbo is big enough and you have the correct Shift Light you can change gears without the clutch but only if you can rev to 9500 or above. Anything less than 9500 or you could damage the muffler bearings and the Cavater shaft if you aren't careful. I'll post a video showing how it's done but this guy's video is a very good example of how not to damage your muffler bearings or Cavater shaft.

  • @stoker20 absolutely right, i was talking about a general point of view, the transition speed in this way is also on the bikes (and much used).

Almost all cars and bikes in competition (track and straight line) have a Shift Light, and many street bikes.

  • @stoker20 and i had a honda civic, u have no idea at what point the clutch is solid.

  • now i have a quick question how in the holy hell does a person do a burnout like that without holding the clutch like that isn't that damaging the transmission when they do that

  • @dragster2085 he has line lock, look at his thumb on the shifter when he is doing the burnout, that button puts the front brakes on so he can do a burnout without going anywhere.

  • @brandon6pk is it the red button on the top of the shifter

  • your all dumb ass motherfuckers who like Christmas trees up their ass fags

  • Neck snap. Not held reliable. Lmao

  • hes changing gears without the clutch! damn thats hardcore

  • dam he fucks the gear each time he shifts :D

    its like he's fighting ;P

  • rofl!

  • The passenger disliked this video.

  • Bad Ass

  • @frankcostello14242 You oughtta ask your brother if he remembers a guy named Neil McNeice (pron. McNeese). Neil was a lifelong buddy of mine from here in Tucson Ariz. He owned a few Gulfstreams himself, but also owned Ariz. Executive Air....a fleet of 30 or so Gulfstreams, made up of a bunch of guys with those awesome planes. Neil and his company flew hi-rollers all over the world. The stories he would tell about what went on in those planes with rock stars and their ladyfriends..whew!

  • His expression at 1.21 was priceless!

  • @frankcostello14242 I'm 56, and in high school my buddy had a 70 or 71 LS-6 Vette. It was factory stock, only exception was headers and at the track, slicks. We drove the car to the strip...borrowed a set of slicks, and in total street trim turned 12.34 / 110. I remember he made the same bet to me. Truth be told, it wasn't hard to pick up a 50 dollar bill he laid at my feet when he dumped the clutch in first gear at high revs. But those old sayings about picking up the bills off the floor..lol.

  • @WickedTornado I always heard about the story going like this, My cars so fast Im gonna put a 100 on the dash and when I punch it if you can grab it you can have it. It always sounded kind of stupid to me cuz in my car you can put anything on the dash and its gonna end up in your lap.

  • @jdubcbr600 Yeah, that's a fairly typical version of the same story. You know, back then (mid sixties to early seventies) the tires were absolute junk compared to the way they make them now. Back then there weren't even radials, and the biggest problem was there was so much wheelspin upon popping the clutch...because the materials they made tires out of were really hard...and not "sticky" at all. Those same cars with today's excellent tires that grip well...really increases their acceleration.

  • lol the passenger is so scared what a bitch

  • Cool car. That guy's neck is going to be sore for 10 years. Get a head rest.

I looked back and he was pinned against the sheet metal with many expressed faces, just like that dude on that hyndi (spelling) commercial, and he was loving every sec. of it....

  • I road in a 7.0 sec 1/8th mile car and no seat belt or harness nothing and its a bit scary w/o all the gear.

  • I'm in awe that a 283 stock eliminator can run like that! I built up a 67 Nova 283 and got it to run 12.80's in street trim, but low 11's? Dang!

  • LOL !!!!!!!!! passenger looked scared shitless on the launch and the 1-2 shift :)

In his defense, he had NO head rest at all, the same pass with high back racing seats would of been MUCH more enjoyable

  • whiplash lol

  • This video is awesome! The passenger snapping his neck, the drivers knee hitting the roof on the dry hop and launch, and the awesome cog swapping on the run. I think I have watched it 5-6 times straight!

  • The ride along guy don't know what hell just went on!!

  • i love it when he chirps it before he stages, dude is def. not expecting that about breaks his neck haha

  • The dude shits his jocks lol

  • The Nova has a 283 220 hp stock eliminator engine. In J it ran 11.51 last weekend in J (12.65 index) This run was over 200lbs over the 3030lb J weight. This ride was in support of a charity fundraiser at work.

  • Que cagado que estaba el gordito, mi D10S. jajajaja.

  • Nhra3168, what was your time with your buddy, and what do you normally run? I have watched the video dozens of times and can't get enough of it. The small block....well talk about music to your ears. Great driving!!

  • Comment removed

  • My boss and I must've watched the part on the dry hop where his head end up in the trunk a dozen times and we laughed our ass' off each time. I watch now and find myself laughing before it ever happens. Look at how high the driver pops his left knee up droppin' the C. He's practically scratching his armpit with it! hahaha

  • when does it happen

  • right around the :54 second mark

  • LMFAO! The guys expressions..........

Let me take him for a ride! LOL

  • Best in car video as far as I am concerned. Just GREAT!!!

  • BUT god that car is a bad ass it's hard to believe that is a near stock 327. It runs like 11.50

  • Love Stick cars and Loved this video. Thanks for posting!

  • BWAA HAAA HAAA HAAA !!! Dry hop and launch...the look on the passengers face is priceless. Having driven my own race car to low 10's at 135 MPH, you don't get the sense of the launch once you've done it a few times. As for sticks, nobody making any kind of power runs a tranny requiring a clutch to shift anymore. Those days of slipping it and praying you don't drive over the tranny are long gone.

  • i run stick cars, and H pattern shifters no inline shit for me

if i wanted to shift without a clutch, ide go automatic

  • Comment removed

  • dfinkie, looking back can be fun a reality check is required. In the 70's I built my first race car with a stick in it and have had several since. Modern technology has allowed stick cars to go quicker, safer and more reliably. Take some time to understand the sophisication and detail of todays Stock Eliminator cars and their amazing performance relative to the rules. You will come away with a better understanding the skill level required to build a car like this one.

  • Back in the day we actually had to use the clutch to shift. And you actually had to port your own heads. It acually took skill. Not that these guys aren't talented in their building and tuning abillities. I'm just saying.

  • I bet he had skid marks in his undies.

  • Awesome video. The look on the passengers face is priceless. Got to love a stick car!!!
