The people of the EU and Germany specifically consider this Tea Party movement and the Republican party in general to be a close comparison to the Nazi movement. It seemed harmless yet filled with ideological vitriol that snowballed into mass genocide. They used war as a platform to solidify their agenda and satisfy the social unrest.

The Nazis were a populist movement because they supported universal health care, redistribution of wealth to the poor, raising taxes, environmentalism, and unemployment benefits. Some of those plans are similar to programs supported by modern liberals. like welfare, classwarfare etc. lots of people who supported Nazis weren't racists like the Nazis were (some early nazis were jews)

The Tea Party wants to reduce government power and they support an individual society. That is the opposite of what the Nazis wanted. The Nazis were collectivists, and class warfare specialists - which is exactly what the tea party is protesting against.

People who can't speak English are usually non-caucasians. What do you get when you put all those points together? You get a good idea of what's going on in the congressman's head.

I don't see any problem with her using her hand. People use teleprompters, cue and note cards while giving speeches. The fact that she saved trees by using her hands instead of paper should be praised. But I love how she said "We need a Commander in Chief instead of a law professor." I would very much rather have someone who has been educated and understands law and government than someone who claims to be the average American. @ClassicFIHD - The lawsuits I was referring to are those surrounding the attempt to build a sports arena in Wasilla. As far as the city council votes, she was still mayor, she was still chief cheerleader for it, she still bears the balance of the burden for getting the situation started.
And the difference about the "bridge to nowhere" is that most of the politicians who supported it admit that they did, whereas Palin supported it until after it was a liability but denies that.

But she was crafty enough to start calling herself a "reformer" after working to end the AOGCC position because it was the only way out of it, not because she thought it was waste, but as i said because it wasn't "fun".
